Dr. Reginald Griffin, MD

I went into my preop appointment with a list of questions and Dr. Griffin patiently answered all of them. I felt like I was always in good hands, and had no reservations that he was a very educated, capable surgeon. As expected, I had no complications after my surgery. He has performed two surgeries for me so far, and I have had good experiences both times. Everyone I came in contact with at the affiliated hospital had nothing but good things to say about Dr Griffin. He is well respected, and knowledgeable with a very courteous, professional office staff. I hope I never need another surgery, but if I do, I will definitely call Dr. Griffin.

My Experience with Dr. Griffin aka Dr. G ( my nickname) Dr. G truly saved my life. My surgery was not an easy task, the 1st try was not successful due to my fatty liver, Dr. G didn't feel comfortable doing the surgery. All though I was upset the 1st time but I love the fact he cared enough not to be put me in harms way. I lost some more weight and 3 months later he was able to due the surgery. I could not be more happy. Dr. G is truly amazing. He is the 'Elon Musk' of Bariatric Surgery. I just love his bedside manner. He is positive and so intelligent. Roger his personal assistant he is so amazing as well he responds and listen to your concerns and will answer any and all questions and he returns calls/ emails which these days unheard of...So thank you Dr. G and Roger for being a great...I would recommend Dr. G 100%...Again, thank you for saving my life....

Dr Griffin is “down to earth” yet incredibly knowledgeable. Answers all questions and makes sure you understand. Always takes his time. I’d recommend him to anyone wanting bariatric surgery.

Dr. Griffin performed my bariatric sleeve surgery November of 2022. Since then I have lost 50 pounds, lowered my blood pressure and am now off cholesterol medication. I never could have achieved this weight loss on my own. You couldn’t ask for a doctor who is more detail oriented and pays close attention to all your questions. Dr. Griffin has provided me with the most personalized and professional care. He takes a personal interest in every aspect of your health. He listens to your concerns and answers every question. He makes you feel you are the most important person before him. During a recent surgery, the surgeon discovered an unknown cancer and Dr. Griffin was called in to remove that cancer. With his guidance and care, i am now 2 year’s cancer free. His staff is friendly, efficient and professional.

My visit was great, on time appointment!! The Doc was listened to my explanation about my hernia problems.Than examined and explained in great detail, including showing examples in medical book. I could tell he really cared and he must love he's profession.. At the end of the appointment gave me literature about proper diet to prepare for surgery,than he said "see you on the table" Of course the surgery went great, I am really glad that I did find Dr Griffin.

Horrible I went in for a hernia to have it fixed and he did the surgery and now I have more issues than I ever had. I would not recommend him for hernia repair. We have asked for help and was denied he has closed his door on us and I still have the hernia it was never repaired correctly.

As a new resident of Florida and a Gastric Bypass surgery patient, I was needing to find a surgeon who would take me as a new patient. I was very pleased and felt comfortable after meeting Dr. Griffin and his interest and care to accept me as his patient since another Dr. had performed my surgery over a year ago.

Dr. Griffin is one of the most professional people that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He has a wonderful staff, especially Roger, and it is also one of the most organized professional offices I have ever dealt with. I was impressed with the doctor's knowledge, ease of communication, his down to earth ability to thoroughly answer all my questions and concerns pertaining to the procedures regardless as to how long it took. The Doctor's hospital manners were equally impressive, he came in early to greet me and to answer any other questions that I may have as well as to insure that I personally met all of the surgical staff. To top that off, I received a personal call from the doctor himself the following day to check up on me and to answer any further questions.

Dr. Reginal Griffin displayed an extraordinary high level of professionalism and surgical skill in the course of my surgery. He exhibits genuine compassion and supportive encouragement for his patients. It's indeed refreshing to find a surgeon who has such a thoughtful and unhurried relationship with his patients.

I have found Dr Griffin to be very straight forward with his diagnosis and knowledge.He explains his diagnosis in English ( not medical jargon) and with my condition he used surgery as a last resort. I was impressed that he tried methods in my case before performing necessary surgery. I recommend him highly!

I highly recommend Dr Griffin. He's an excellent surgeon and he's excellenct in all aspects of his care for his patients. I am so grateful for his help with my weight loss.
