Keep looking
Trust the lowest reviews on here. Keep searching for a good doc! She is condescending, mean, and incredibly rude. Her annoyance and disgust towards me couldn't be hidden by the mask on her face. What doctor says to her patient, 'I can't wait to see what a mess your labs will look like.' FYI: My labs came back as close to what it usually is, and her letter even confirms this with her writing 'continue with current therapy.' I have no idea where all of these 5 star reviews come from. Thank God she's retiring in August because no one deserves the experience of her 'care.'

AWFUL DOCTOR NO BEDSIDE MANOR STAY AWAY
AWFUL STAY AWAY!!! I'm going to be 40 in June which is two months away and I asked the medical assistant if I could schedule a mammogram and then Dr. Wu came in and said why would you need a mammogram your 39. She was so rude and honestly unhinged. She clearly hates her job and should not be practicing medicine anymore. She has no bedside manner, no empathy and was extremely rude to me. If you can avoid her I would. She is a mean person.

Great customer service!
Dr. Wu is very knowlegeable and precise, as many doctors are in the Boston area, but she has something many do not- an excellent support team. When I have a problem I can go on-line to the patient portal and describe it, and usually within a two or three hours I get a response. It may be from her PA or a nurse who is equally competent, but when appropriate my problem is answered by Dr. Wu herself. In the past at other practices having spent many hours, even days, waiting for a reply to a simple question, I really appreciate the quick response from Dr. Wu's office.

Seek compassionate care elsewhere
I'm sure Dr. Wu can handle annual check-ups and minor health issues, but if you have a chronic condition (or something that is difficult to diagnose), she will be quick to invalidate your experiences and label you as a hypochondriac. She does not hide these feelings either -- in every appointment her expression and tone made her come off as condescending, judgmental, and annoyed, making it clear she felt the whole conversation was a huge waste of time. She also interrupted me frequently and was quick to dismiss any concerns I had, resulting in two serious health issues being overlooked and untreated for months. Frankly, if this is the best PCP that Brigham Westwood has to offer, then they have some serious work to do, especially when it comes to bedside manner.

Very supportive
I started seeing Dr Wu in 2020 during the pandemic as it was time for me to find a doctor that was an advocate for my health. Dr Wu had come recommended by a few other women in my town and she has been amazing. In the year + that I have been seeing her, she has been 100% responsive and supportive. I came to her with a pre-existing condition that prior to that hadn't been addressed fully and she immediately made referrals and got me on track. Dr. Wu understands the whole person; she listens, is accessible, and is very caring - I feel you don't see this as often anymore... As a woman in my late 40s (uy!) I feel 100% she is my advocate and partner in my health journey and I can't recommend her enough.

Dr. Wu has been my physician for 15 years or so. I followed her to her new location in Westwood. I have always found her to be very knowledgeable and an extremely competent physician. She is also very caring and helped my husband and I deal with his elderly mother as her health declined and we needed to place her. She is a good listener and I would highly recommend her as a physician.

Awful experience
I went in with a concern and I have an underlying disease which I believe was the factor to my concern and she completely blew it off and only focused on one thing which wasn’t a factor. She seemed rushed and high strung with zero empathy. When I tried speaking she would talk over me and not let me explain anything. I don’t know how she has so many good reviews because I truly feel like I saw someone completely different. She was unprofessional and dismissive with horrible bedside manner. I wouldn’t recommend her to my worst enemy. I love going to BWH but she truly tarnished their reputation.

Dr. Wu has been my PCP for about two decades now and I could not have asked for a better professional to oversee my health. Along with her genuine interest in how I am doing, she is incredibly skilled at determining the best route for my medical issues, always expresses sincere compassion and concern, takes time to truly listen to my worries, and is clearly invested in my good health. She is also humble enough to admit when she is unsure of the next step, and to then refer me to the correct specialist to carry out a medical plan. Though I have had a myriad of health issues since birth, I credit my overall good health to Dr. Wu. She has done everything in her power to keep me going, and I could not be more thankful for her!

Just had my annual checkup with Dr. Wu. As always, she did a thorough checkup, followed up on my specific health issues, and took the time to ask me about how I was otherwise doing and how my family was doing. I think she is a wonderful doctor and will be following her to her new practice at Brigham Health in Westwood when she moves there in April.

I have been seeing Dr. Wu as my Internist for approximately 15 years. She is the best! She takes the time to listen to her patients and never rushes a visit with you. She is kind, caring, personable, knowledgeable and knows how to treat her patients. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new primary care doctor. Dedham Medical Associates should be proud to have her as one of their staff members.
