condescending and rude
She took me off my birth control pill that I have been on for 14 years...told me to get an IUD or nothing. Stated my blood pressure was too high (130/72). Told me I was too overweight to even think about getting pregnant (211 lbs 5'8"). Told me I was on the "older end" for getting pregnant (I'm 31) and I would have a very hard time conceiving because of this. I was talked down to the entire time, and I was treated like a child. I will stay with this practice because they have been wonderful up until now but I will never let Dr. Murcko see me again.

Fantastic provider
I was referred to Dr. Murcko after my previous Dr. retired. I am upset that I did not switch sooner to Dr. Murcko. She takes the time to listen, personable and I feel I receive a much better exam from her. Everyone from her team I have interacted with has been awesome too! Glad I made the switch!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Murcko last week. I thought that she was very thorough. She answered all of my questions and did not make me feel rushed or hurried. I ask a lot of questions and she explained them in a manner that I could understand. I did not experience what some of the other reviews have mentioned.

I had my first obgyn appointment ever with Dr. Murcko and never felt so unsure when leaving a doctor's office. Knowing it was was my first time there were no explanation or warning about how things may feel, only when she was finished with my pap she said " okay that's what a pap smear feels like'' when she was finished she never answered the questions I had asked and then she said ok we are done nice meeting you and walked out of the room. Never did she say oh ok this looks/normal. Very upset.

I was taken back to the exam room after waiting 20 minutes from the start of my appointment and was then left in the exam room (with my gown on) for 35 minutes before Dr. Murcko arrived. By the time she began my exam, it had already been over an hour from the start of my appointment. She did not apologize for keeping me waiting, did not answer my questions but instead referred me to other doctors, had no bedside manner and provided a 'rushed' exam. I will never go back to her.

I've never written a neg review but I dont want any1 to go through what I did. First, she didn'tintroduce herself or offer a congrats on my pregnancy. She very coldly told me I was high risk miscarriage based on very light spotting that my new OBGYN assured me is common. She didn't seem to know much about genetic screening which most doctors now recommend. She was extremely cold and even said we couldn't know if the baby was alive but wanted me to wait 6 wks for an US. Went to ER immediately

I had a very good experience with Dr. Murcko as a new patient. She was very concerned about my needs and history and making sure that she was doing what I really needed an avoiding tests that were not needed. She seemed very up to date with the way that she practices and had a reason for each thing that she did.

Performed what I later was told to be unnecessary surgery; ordered a mail order test, stating the office would check to see if it was covered by my insurance, if I get the test in the mail, go ahead and perform, it is covered, a year later I find it was not covered, $650 bill now owed by me, office manager will not return calls. Office personnel is rude and condescending. Don't trust this "doctor" and office.

Came off as condescending. Right off the bat (11wks) wanted to discuss delivery and whether I was opting to do a repeat c-section. Did not issue correct pre-natal ultrasound at 11-13 weeks for genetic screening and when I asked about why, she said "everyone would like more pictures of their baby but you'll just have to wait til 18 weeks." Genetics said that is incorrect because they like to track measurements. I did not trust the information she was giving me was accurate. Switched immediately.
