Her uncaring attitude and huge ego leaves a lot to be desired. One star is too much! Went to another doctor and had to have my lens replace due to wrong lens put in.

Way too overbooked
Dr. Walker is one of the best ophthalmologists I've ever been to. Problem is, they constantly overbook and cause long waits in the waiting room. I understand that problems occur but I don't think I ever had an appointment where I didn't wait in the waiting room for less than 45 minutes to an hour. By the time you're seen, have a nurse perform a 10 minute test, have your eyes dilated, then spend a maximum of 10 minutes with the doctor, you're there for close to 2 hours. Last time I had an appointment, the waiting room was at capacity and patients were sitting in the hallway. I advised the desk I was cancelling my appointment and when they asked me to reschedule, I told them that I won't be back. It's a shame because I really liked Dr. Walker.

I have seen Dr. Walker for over 15 years. Dr. Walker took care of my cataracts, red eye issues and my glaucoma. She is a fantastic surgeon. So professional and the office staff is so very helpful, always returns phone calls, they are amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Walker to anyone who is seeking an excellent ophthalmologist.

Her ego gets in the way of her clinical judgement. I had to go elsewhere to find her laser treatment to my eye was not needed. I do regret ever seeing her as a patient.

I would use the male doctor in this practice as he seems to know the current best technology with cataract surgery. She clearly does not, unfortunately for me.

Dr. Walker's cataract surgery left me quite disappointed. She refuses, ignores, and, strangely, blames me. When I go to another eye surgeon, I discover that I have to be scheduled to have the erroneous iol lens she implanted removed by a different eye surgeon.

She totally dismissed me when I asked her a question regarding my disappointing results from her cataract surgery on me. She literally walked out of the room while I was in mid sentence. I am glad I found another for my second eye.

After my cataract surgery was not satisfactory, Dr Walker turned on me and said it was my fault. I felt so embarrassed by her temperament. I left the office and went to a different surgeon to have the other eye done, only to find out that Dr Walker had placed the wrong lens in my eye.

It would have been better if I had never visited her. I found her arrogant and disrespectful. She walked out of the room while I was still talking to her. And she made a comment to me that was totally inappropriate. There is zero compassion here.

When my optometrist of 40+ years advised me to address the cataracts in my eyes, he immediately recommended that I go to see Dr. Walker. I now know why he made that recommendation. I have had the cataracts removed and now have no need for eyeglasses - and I can thank Dr. Walker for that. My experience with Dr. Walker was positive in every respect. She is an attentive physician who took great care to ensure that I understood fully what was involved and constantly checked to ensure that the procedure was progressing correctly. I am very pleased with the results and with Dr. Walker. I can highly recommend her to anyone needing an ophthamologist.

Having just had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Walker all I can say is that it was a most positive experience., and this is coming from a guy who had many fears going into it. The entire staff at Chalfont and Fort Washington were fantastic. Dr Walker is very caring and thorough. She answered all my questions honestly and did not push me into the surgery. She told me I would know when it's time and I did. Trust me Dr. Walker and her staff will put you at ease. The process was very quick and painless and the results for me are mind blowing!!! I can not thank Dr. Walker enough for being "my Eye Doctor"

Very professional. She went over everything involved in the cataract surgery. They must have used a dozen instruments to examine every part of my eye. The actual surgery went very well with no pain during or after. The people at the surgery center were very friendly and very competent. Overall a good experience.
