Dr. Rebecca Wackowski, MD

Dr. Wackowski is the best diagnostician I've ever known! She is extremely smart and very intuitive. I'm eighty years old and still teaching school and enjoying life. I give Dr. Wackowski much of the credit!

My primary care doctor since 2013 before Ascension showed her and her wonderful staff the door. I am still trying to find if she went with another medical group.

Dr. Wackowski has been my decree for many years and I have received the best care possible. She listened to all of my concerns and questions and addressed them until she was sure that I understood the cause, treatment etc. I truly doubt I'll find another doctor that I can feel as much at ease with or as health safe with.

She's been my Dr since the 90s and will work with me on my conditions. She's been a good doctor for my family. Her office at Ascension was awful though. 30 minute wait times on the phone, no follow through on referrals, no one replied to messages and the new APRN in her office was dismissive, didn't order some basic yearly tests, forgot to refill my prescriptions, and didn't seem to jnow what endometriosis is. I believe after some time off she is going to Utica Park Clinic, if you're looking for her. I hope that office is better.

Originally went well but my symptoms have been dismissed by her for years. I had thought she would help but has ignored my concerns. Left practice without notifying me and I am still suffering. Back to finding a doctor that actually cares.

Listened and understanding

My initial visit with Dr. Wackowski in February 2022 was most POSITIVE! She carefully reviewed my past medical history and current health status with me. As an experienced, retired RN, I deemed her physical exam and requested lab work to be appropriately thorough. Moreover, she was knowledgeable, friendly, calm and a good listener. Her sudden departure from Ascension St. John shocked me! I would like to continue as her patient and would definitely appreciate knowing her new professional location, which the Ascension St. John receptionist was unable to share with me when I called their office on July 21, 2022.

Dr. Wackowski has been my Doctor for 25 years. Don't know what I am going to do without her. Hopefully I will be able to fing out where she is practicing now.

She attended to my needs and exam in a professional manner! I have experience as a professional as well and have referred others To Dr. Wackowski. She is very good at follow up calls to me to keep me informed regarding my lab work, etc. I have been using that clinic for about 25 years and she is the 6th primary physician I have had there and she has been my favorite because of her ability to help with locating a Dr Hood who performed an endoscopy and prescribed medication that has helped tremendously. Dr. Phoenix failed to help me with that prior to my changing to Dr. Wackowski so I highly recommend her as a thorough professional!

Dr Wackowski has provided health care for me for at least 15 years and I have been more than pleased with her. She is a great listener, has a good sense of humor and above all, her knowledge of medical issues is excellent. I am blessed to have her for my primary care physician.

We waited 30 minutes to be seen. During the visit she did not listen to heart, lungs, check ears etc. in fact she never even touched the patient. Had her face in the computer the whole visit except to ask one question.

Office visit

Dr. Wackowski is my primary care physician and she's thorough, professional, knowledgeable, responsive and focused. She's all business and gets straight to the point - she does not waste your time or hers, and does not keep you waiting.

The medical assistant and doctor were very thorough and nice.

My first time there and she was recommended by a friend. I also Google her. Good remarks. My visit with her was great.

AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED, BECKY THE NURSE IS THE BEST PERSON IN THIS PRACTICE. THE DOCTOR IS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT FILLING HER POCKETS THAN THE CARE OF THE PEOPLE. MAKES ME SICK!!! SHE NEEDS TO BE WASHING CARS.

Follow-up visit for diabetes and meds. Always enjoy my visits. Dr. Wackowski is wonderful.

I’ve only seen Dr W twice, both times she spent 99% of the time on the computer without even asking questions. She never looked me in the face and asked me how I was doing. I can hear fine but she talks really soft, the few words that she even said and berated me for not knowing what a Medicare Wellness exam entailed. After my first appointment I thought I would give her a second chance but that’s it.
