Dr. Rebecca Shaw, MD

Still grateful to Dr. Shaw after 26 years. She has great surgical skills and delivered a healthy infant from my C-section.

I had a wonderful experience with her 23 years ago. She performed a very specialized surgery on my uterus to remove multiple fibroids and preserve my ability to have children. I now have 2 healthy teenagers 18 and 19 years old!! I am forever greatful to her. I am a Pediatrician and it means the world to me to have some kids of my own!

I believe the group she is one of the original doctors and has a lot of say in the group. I was all ready for a VBAC, 3 of the 4 doctors at the WDM clinic were all for a vbac. I went to her once, she was kind, pretty much talked with my daughter and spent 30 seconds asking me questions. She told all the doctors I should not have a VBAC and so all but one agreed with her. I went in at 9cm and they told me I needed a cs because that is what the doctors had agreed on. The put me out with general.

Missed my impending pre-eclampsia with my first high risk pregnancy. She knicked my bladder during the c-section for my second pregnancy. She did not catch this and it was not repaired. I now have a bladder diverticulum. In addition, during the Caesarian she looked up over the cloth and stated "You'd better hope this is your last pregnancy." Way to spoil the moment there, friend.

Absolutely terrible experience.
