Dr. Rebecca Schwartz, MD

I was really nervous to have a certain diagnostic procedure done (which I had previously painfully had done at Kaiser). Dr. Schwartz showed such empathy and kindness and wasn't annoyed with my fear. She was patient gentle, kind and thorough. The procedure was not painful with her and I am so relieved~! I am so grateful that I found her. I highly recommend her. I have had good luck with their whole group.

Dr Schwartz has been my doctor for over 15 years. She is caring and takes the time to listen. She always has my best interest. I highly recommend her for anyone that is looking for an attentive DR.

Dr. Schwartz did not take the time to meet me to learn about why I was in the office - just wham bam exam. First visit felt like I was on a conveyor belt. No follow up after labs until I called back 3 weeks later, no report on my pap. labs and Pap were suppose to be sent to my PCP... nope... months later still trying to get the results sent. In addition, I've never been to a medical office where the front office was less friendly or less attentive. They spent time happily chatting with each other, on their cell phones and ignoring the ringing phone and the the people in the lobby... no attempt to engage even to ask for a minute. Very dissatisfied...

Dr. Schwartz is very warm and caring. However, her office doesn't answer the phone most of the time. I had to change insurance and it took me hours to get through. They wanted to charge me $25.00 to send them because the new office hadn't sent the form releasing them. There is no parking at the Los Alamitos location, the front office is very slow and the wait time is long. Also Dr. Schwartz is very diligent in ordering preventative tests, but it ends up very costly when there is no indication for the test.

If doctors make you nervous (pretty much all of us) she is a good doctor to make you feel comfortable about sharing your concerns. I've found her thorough and proactive in providing preventative or diagnostic care.

I should have listen to all reviews online for this office. Front office is HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I called to make appt in Jan 2022, made appt for first opening today 03/09/2022 at 8:15am. Gave receptionist all my information, cell, insurance, address. Today, i went to appt at Long Beach Obstetrics & Gynecology 2840 Long Beach Blvd Ste 230 Long Beach, CA 90806 as listed on their website (as of today its same). The office was closed, gate down no one there no note posted. i called, receptionist advised they moved to Los Alamitos! I asked if i drive there can she still take me? she said NO next appt April. i said i cant wait till April, her response... crickets, dead air no I'm sorry we didn't tell you we moved. She without warning put me on hold, waited 3 mins, she said no we can't take you today we are booked. I asked for a Dr note to get paid for lost time of work this morning, she said i can't provide you with a note your not a seen patient here yet. HORRIBLE customer service!!!!

She is knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner, She spends the right amount of time with you making sure you understand the exam tests and results. Dr. Schwartz is gentle in her approach for both the exam and explanations. I would and do recommend her to my friends.
