If you’re looking for an Ophthalmologist, then without hesitation, I urge you to look no further because Dr. Rebecca Mammo’s work is impeccable and professional. In fact the plaque on the wall in the reception area indicates she is a “Top Doctor”. Dr. Mammo walks the walk and talks the talk!Recently, I had cataract surgery on one eye. Before the surgery, I was petrified; I felt as though I was 3 years old when I visited her office. However, Doctor Mammo has a calmness and kindness about her that eradicated my fears and anxiety. I do believe that is a vital gift she exhibits to her patients, given that our eyes are important.I knew I was in the hands of a confident angel, because of the outstanding results I received. I now look forward to having the surgery on my left eye, and this time, the confident adult will enter with grace. Again, do not hesitate to contact Rebecca Mammo you will be in the best of care. An excellent Doctor of Opthalmology!
Dr. Rebecca Mammo was very pleasant yet professional. She inspired confidence in me regarding my eye problem and her explanation regarding the best solution. I had a pterygium which is really a growth on the eye caused by too much sun exposure in my youth. She recommended removal and did an excellent job!! I am happy to report after 2 weeks my eye is like new fully healed and looks good. I would highly recommended this skilled surgeon.

Dr. Mammo diagnosed my retina related vision loss.
When Dr. Mammo worked in California she had the ability and honesty to discuss my eye issues. I have genetic RP. She is a compassionate skilled person. Her intervention and honesty made it possible for me to come to grips with my prognosis.

My visits with Dr. Mammo were very helpful.
As the result of an injury to my left eve, I was misdiagnosed with glacouma, and was treated as such for nearly a year by two other physicians. On my first visit to Dr. Mammo, she immediately stated that I was experiencing the results of an injury, and NOT glaucoma. She prescribed some vitamins and generic eye drops. The results were immediate and Positive. My injured eye responded within a few days... very impressive.
