A mess all around
She started off strong, ordering lots of tests, referring me to specialists where needed. But then it went downhill. She referred me to a doctor, only to have that doctor's office call me confused because they don't even treat that condition. When I asked about it, I was told to find a doctor that does treat it and then contact her office and they'd make the referral. I found one, called and left a message for her nurse. They were a bit backed up so they had someone else return my call. I gave her the name of the practice and contact info. Somehow the message never got passed along and the referral didn't get made. The dietitian I was referred to didn't take my insurance card so I asked for a referral for someone else and never got one. The last straw was when I asked for a referral for a gynecologist because I wanted to be evaluated for PCOS. She refused, saying that I was just overweight.

I have missed this Dr. I have always hoped that she would come back to St. Luke's. But not Blue Springs....Anyone who is lucky enough to get her as your Dr. Is in very good hands. MISS YA DOC.. TB

Responsive. Listens to you. Responds without doctor-speak. Uses words that all of us can understand. Gives it to you straight. You might not like what she says, but she is right and you know it.

I've been a patient of Dr. Baskins since 2005, and am extremely happy with her as my primary care physician. She has always taken as much time as necessary to listen and address my complicated medical issues. She has made the correct diagnosis and/or medical decisions countless times, while other doctors have missed the mark. I, as well as, two other family members would highly recommend Dr. Baskins, if you're looking for a great primary or family physician!

I have never had a Doctor take the time that Dr. Baskins does to make sure I understand everything . Dr Baskins always ask and listens to my health concerns . I have been going to her for over 15 years now and she is the best .

Best Doctor in the world ! I live in Alaska and still call her office for health needs, she was my doctor in Missouri for a couple of years and I have yet to find a doctor who has the experience and knowledge as Dr. Rebecca Baskins in Smithville Missouri, Thank you Doctor Baskins !
