Inconsiderate toward military PTSD
I’m a 5-Year Army Major General, who just got honorably discharged with a Purple Heart, but with tremendous levels of psychological trauma. He laughed out loud when I told him about my fears and horrific conditions. I went to see him based on the fact that I did not have enough money to see someone outside of the Greenville area. I have an enormous amount of respect toward the military, and mental health plays an essential role in ensuring veterans’ well-being and happiness, but I landed in severe pain after being treated by him. Especially unsatisfied with Dr. Sayed mixing up doses and lack of attention.

Extremely horrifying experience
Like others have mentioned, Dr. Sayed was very turbulent in his approach, and presented a litany of reasons as to why I was in a state of denial. His temper led him to prescribe me with an incorrect dosage and medication, when I had clearly stated my needs.

Questionable billing practices and competency
I am a 24-year US Marine Vet, and was completely blindsided by his treatment of my PTSD. Dr. Sayed Raza overcharged me and misdiagnosed my condition. Steer clear from his questionable practices. I have tremendous respect for the mental health industry and their necessity in dealing with psychiatric concerns, but this doctor simply isn’t qualified.

Not a well-trained psychiatrist in the area
Dr. Sayed is not on par with other physicians’ expertise in the area. As a United States Marine Veteran, I was put off by his treatment of my mother. She had bipolar disorder and Dr. Sayed seemed to brush it off. Other physicians didn’t afterward. Dr. Sated was especially incompetent when it came to diagnosing my PTSD.

Overcharges, unprofessional, incompetent
I was his patient for years. He used deceptive tactics; I trusted him so much I asked you to take my dog if something happened to me. He said yes. When she needed surgery and I was worried about the money, he asked if I wanted him to lend me the money. I told him I wanted to find it somewhere else if I could. When I couldn't, I wrote him a note accepting his offer. He blew up at me. The only person in the world that I trusted suddenly hated me. Maybe he didn't remember the offer. Maybe he was joking when he made the offer. I believed him and thought he meant it. He wouldn't listen to me when I tried to remind him. I didn't understand then and I don't now and it has been years. He just hated me. To have someone you trust and need turn on you when you did nothing wrong is devastating. To have your psychiatrist do it teaches you that you can never trust anyone. I never cried so much in my life until my dog died recently. Be wary. Also, office overcharged me hundreds. He misdiagnosed me.

I wish I could leave zero stars!!! He treated me for substance abuse at glen oaks hospital. When I met with him initially, he said he was going to add a suboxone to 2 days of my taper and add 1 extra day due to my tolerance and length of time. However, when the hospital started to fill up, he said I was being discharged over a day early. When I asked why, all he could say was "you are being discharged" he wouldn't tell me why. Come to find out, everyone who didn't have insurance was being discharged early! He cares for u only if u have ins!
