Excellent surgeon
Dr. Thal is committed to helping his patients recover quickly and thoroughly. He is a very skilled and knowledgeable Orthopedic surgeon who treats issues aggressively. I highly recommend him if you have shoulder, arm, or elbow issues.

Very Caring
Dr. Thal was wonderful with my mother - very patient and kind. She is almost 98 years old, with dementia, but with a lot of pain from a rotator cuff injury or irritation. Was not fun getting an x-ray because she had to try to lift her arm. Not a candidate for surgery due to age, so Dr. Thal prescribed a cortisone shot and he was very careful in administering this. Overall, a good experience although painful and tiring for my mom.

Very informative doctor
I enjoyed our conversation with detailed explanations from my x-rays and how he would recommend seeing Dr. Connova or Dr. Lu about knee replacement surgery-for he doesn’t do that much anymore. He provided pictures and explanation through email after my visit.

If I could give him more I would!
Dr. Thal takes time w his patients, and really listens. He carefully considers what options would be best, and explains them clearly, along with his suggestions if further treatments might be needed in the future. His staff is also professional, warm and seem very knowledgeable. He has been in practice for awhile, so he knows what he’s doing. He even developed a surgical technique that many other doctors now use. I think Dr Thal is one of the best orthopedists out there.

The best!
Dr. Tahl was my dad’s doctor for years. And recently I have had to visit him for an arthritic shoulder. Dr Tahl is a superb practitioner and best in class. He has always been gracious, courteous, candid and caring. He provided excellent care for my dad and is doing the same for me. Kayla his medical assistant is also excellent and always available. If you have any issues, look no further. Dr Tahl is person you need to see. Grateful and thankful for his service and practice.

MRI review of right shoulder rotator cuff injury
One of my tennis partners highly recommended Dr Thal, as I have been experiencing a rotator cuff issue and needed a second opinion to proceed with the correct diagnosis and subsequent treatment. My wait time was 0 (zero) minutes, which has not been my experience visiting with other physicians. I was impressed with the office visit in addition to Dr. Thal's examination and MRI analysis. I am retaining him as my orthopedic physician from now on. Excellent experience!
