Dr. Raymond Duong, MD

Dr Duong is a thorough doctor who tries to give the best care with the time booked per patient. Businesses are in business to make money or at least try to get breakeven, otherwise it would be volunteer work. Yes, he has expanded his practice to offer certain unique services that you may or may not be interested in paying for out of pocket. He will thoroughly explain how your health and well-being could benefit from them and it’s up to you what you do with it. As for the rest of the staff, they can only control so much and have nothing to do with the billing or coding of services but will be happy to try to help resolve whatever issue is at stake as long as it is legit. There is NEVER a guarantee that your insurance will cover something. Mind you, bad reviews have another side to their story’s. He is required by insurance to follow many guidelines. One of which is to type during the visit to be able to give the patient a printout of the exam discussion before leaving the office.

Dr Duong is more interested in getting paid than caring for his patients. Has a service to take calls from patient because Medicare doesn’t pay if his staff gets calls. Doesn’t call service back, have to consistently make repeat calls to service, they email Dr. He doesn’t respond. Elderly parent had uti, 5 days after culture results were sent to Dr. Duong, he still hadn’t called in a prescription. During visits, he is too busy typing in notes in account and reading aloud while he is typing to listen to patients concerns.

Love Dr Duong. But his nurse Misty and Billing staff are totally inadequate! They billed me as a medicare patient and my insurance denied the claim. When told they needed to put the correct code in they said it still didn't matter, I stilled owed the money. Called my insurance company and they said they would call their billing company, because it does matter and what I owe would be different. Also when I called the billing department back to speak with the manger, it was someone different. Misty and this other person said she was the manager. So now my insurance company is going to have to have a specialist reach out to their billing company. It's a shame that this has happened. Makes me want to go somewhere else. As an retired VA Charge Nurse I've never treated any of my patients this way!

Always concerned about your overall well-being. Offers supplements in the office but is not concerned where you buy them as long as you understand the importance to your health. One of the most experienced and knowledgeable doctors we have ever used.

He was decent doctor when i first went to him. Then he started to perform certain techniques ( for example) the "pellet" procedure and when he started to push meds. after meds. on me, I was "duong" with him.

We liked Dr Duong at first. Once he started pushing procedures and medications, some of which he sold right at the front desk, we left.

Dr. Duong is a very compassionate physician who understands issues facing his patient. He will take time out of his busy schedule and help you anyway he can.

WOW is all I can say, I have been to a lot of doctors, I must say Dr Duong is a GENIUS among Internists, caring, thorough, no rushed feeling. He is extensive, organized and makes you feel relaxed, because going to any doctor can be stressful, his staff is very special and follow the values as Dr Duong.
