Orthopedic Surgeon
Years ago, he operated on my rotator cuff, SINCE THEN I have never even had a twinge of pain. Dr. DeLorenzi also gives me shots in my knees for pain management. HE'S VERY GOOD AT THAT. I 100% recommend him.

I had robotic surgery to repair my right knee. I was bone on bone on the interior part of knee and struggled for 40 years. Dr Delorenze mentioned that he has had patients that were playing tennis in a couple of weeks. My goal going in was to have surgery on Friday and walk into church on Sunday without aids. After my surgery after leaving hospital, my wife, a retired Rehab Physical Therapist, was dismayed that I could walk around the store with no discomfort. She kept telling me to sit down. When I got up and stood up for the first time, I couldn't tell that I had been operated on. It was the first time in 40 years that I could stand and have total stability of my right knee. I am a former US Olympic Sailor and stopped competing because after a couple of days, I couldn't walk. That was 1980. What a great procedure with such incredible results. My wife and I were getting to where we weren't able to walk upstairs without discomfort. Dr Sands did a total knee for her and Dr D did mine.

Does not talk to the patient about problem. Just says “you need double knee replacement.” Never introduced himself. Never showed or explained X-rays. Why was door left open so everyone can hear your personal business? He might be a good surgeon, but I won’t use him.

Dr D is amazing! I broke my shoulder in 3 places and he was able to fix it without surgery. He is a kind, caring doctor who listens to his patients and explains his treatment plans well. Thanks to his expertise, I did not have surgery. I don’t have plates and screws holding me together. No big ugly scar. And completely restored range of motion. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. DeLorenzi did not take time to clearly explain my options, or point out specific reasons I should (or shouldn't) get surgery on my shoulder. I left his office feeling the Dr. wanted me to simply trust his opinion without a good explanation. I also didn't like that Dr. DeLorenzi relied only on the printed report and didn't take time to review the MRI images. The Dr. office that I chose for my second opinion provided all of that and more, so I know my expectations were not unrealistic.
