Condescending and sarcastic and of No Help
First off every Blood test result that was out of range high or low he said was 'Insignificant' Questioned why my Primary Dr. was doing Hemoglobin A1C test. Said that that test is useless. I have been told by other Doctor's I'm prediabetic. When I asked for help with weight loss he said, Simply just buy some Marijuana and go to Russia. There you will end up in prison and they will starve you and you will lose weight! He also told me people aren't suppose to live pass 50. I don't know how this Dr. can be allowed to practice? I can not recommend this Doctor!

An excellent Endocrinologist and caring person
I was a patient of Dr. De La Rosa for 4 or five years during his time in Paducah Kentucky and would have continued to see him had he not relocated to Florida. I always felt he had my best interest in mind and clearly explained my condition and best course of action. I think he’s an excellent doctor who knows his specialty well and I also liked him as a person.

Rude & arrogant
I saw him once - he did not even read my labs throughly, & was rude & arrogant. I immediately told my PCP I wanted someone else. The new endocrinologist saw immediately that my PTH levels were very high & said that was why my sugars were out of whack. Del la Rosa had the exact same labs & never noticed it at all. BTW - Del la Rosa ordered me meds that cost $1000/month even though I said I could not afford them.

Would not recommend
This guy isn't interested in hearing the patent. He reads the numbers from the pump and doesn't want any real engagement from me, to hear that his previous settings are causing low bg's. Which I am over correcting for. I informed his nurse Logan about the lows I was suffering, and thought the settings the he prescribed were too aggressive. Apparently Ray thought that was some kind of challenge. Ray came in to see me., there was no friendly greeting,. Just a defense of his settings. He started off questioning me on the carbs I thought I was consuming. After I realized, this wasn't a 2 way conversation, but a reprimand. I stormed out. Between Ray and Logan, there is no personality present. People skills are important from a doctor and his nurse. These two fail in that department I would not recommend this doctor or his nurse.

I find him to be a pretty good doctor. Makes you feel comfortable during time of visit. Gets to the point, no BS. His assistant Logan is friendly and very competent at his job.

Does not listen to patients, very opinionated, makes changes to medication without reviewing results of his last changes. You get the feeling you're bothering him by asking qiestions.

I had a very productive and informative visit with Dr. de la Rosa. He listened to my concerns, explained everything, and basically made me feel reassured about a condition that was potentially scary. I have no complaints.

I never had this bad experience with anyone. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I went to this “doctor”. Dr. De La Rosa was arrogant from the first minute. He really didn’t care why I was there , and what can be the cause of my symptoms. Basically he read my bloodwork , told me that they won’t do those tests what my previous endocrinologist did, and sent me away. De La Rosa was depreciating and rude. If you don’t want to waste your money and time DO NOT CHOOSE HIS OFFICE!

The worst doctor I have ever been to. He mumbles and doesn’t answer anything. I was sent back and forth to many other doctors because he didn’t care and didn’t know what he was doing. I do not recommend anyone seeing him even if you are desperate. I have been to many doctors and he is by far the worst. I have had a doctor tell me that I was too young to be depressed and to get over it and he is still the worse.

First, it was a little hard to understand him. He spoke fast and and very unclear to what I needed as treatment. After appointment, I was left to discuss my questions & concerns with the nurse. I felt the cause of my condition wasn't being address, just medicating the problem. I had to do a lot of reading & research my condition to get a full understanding of what I was going through and what to expect because Dr was not willing to go over things with me unless I asked sharing my concerns.
