Moved from Dallas so had to find a new gyno for my Endometriosis. I'm 23, have had 3 surgeries for my endo in Dallas, and was diagnosed at 19. He was very validating that I'm in pain and seemed knowledgeable on the subject, but his lack of trust in my previous diagnosis threw me. I had an ultrasound at his office the week before and he came into the appointment not knowing I had them. I asked him what the next steps are for managing my endo and he skated around the question. He set me up for more ultrasounds and never answered. Said I might have Adenomyosis instead of Endo and I asked what that would mean in terms of pain management, he said we'll see when we get scans back. Gave me a prescription for anti-inflammatory and I didn't leave feeling very confident. Felt like we didn't have a plan and uneasy that I didn't get an answer on next steps. He seemed very knowledgeable but overall just felt uneasy and disappointed.
