Condescending and Arrogant
I went to see him for my hip. He was more worried about my smoking than actually treating the problem. Then, when he asked about my work and told him that “I’m retired” he muttered under his breath “Must be nice”. The only thing that came to mind was “Oh yeah, it was real nice getting shot at in a combat zone, real nice that the military had to retire me at the age of 28.” Now, obviously, I didn’t say that, but it is what I was thinking.Then, he asked about previous surgeries (no big deal that’s standard practice), but, when I told him I was fused from my C2-C5, he argued with me (that wasn’t even the reason I was there). I will NEVER step foot in another IU facility because of this doctor. Doctors with a “God Complex” are a cancer on the medical system. This is why most people dislike and distrust doctors in the first place. A patient cured, is a customer lost…
