Dr. Ray Gottesfeld, MD

I first met Dr. Gottesfeld in 1985(?), being referred to him for infertility issues. He was so compassionate, thorough, kind, and understanding! I saw him for almost 4 years, and, under his care, finally became pregnant with my first child. Unfortunately, I miscarried during my first trimester. He stood by me, cared for me, and helped me deal with the loss. At one time during my treatment, a temporary lab technician attempted to take my blood on a weekend. There were many punctures, with no success, and he finally turned me over to Dr. Gottesfeld. I had so many bruises, there weren't many options, but because of the doctor's experience in Haight-Ashbury during the 70's, he was able to draw the blood from my hand with very little pain. We moved from Denver in 1989 and I finally gave birth to my beloved son in 1991, but the experience was not even close to the care I received from Dr. Gottesfeld - I actually had to trick my doctor in order to become pregnant! Dr. G is fabulous!
