Dr. Rawan El-Amin, DO

Dr. El-Amin decided to spend our second appt together berating me about scheduling issues with the office and was condescending and sarcastic when she asked me if she thought I could handle making another appointment. I've never had an experience this negative with a doctor and the whole thing took me by surprise. I had spoken with her about some concerns at a previous appt and she did not bring them up - when I thought we had put the past to rest, she was already walking out the door. I haven't had any issue with other providers in this office but felt she provided woefully inadequate care with unnecessary attitude.

She is so nice and friendly. I really felt comfortable talking to her and felt like she listened to everything I said. It was definitely a pleasant appointment. I highly recommend her.

I saw Dr. Rawan El-Amin for my sterilization surgery. She was incredibly kind, patient, and informative throughout the entire process. I felt listened to and understood during appointments and surgery. Overall one of the most positive experiences I have had with a health professional.

She is very bad very Arrogant Too late to attend Do not respect the patient

I went to her to get birth control and she pushed Mirena on me even when I said I wanted to be on the pill because that is what I had been using. She argued with me about what was best for my body and when I told her I knew manybof the sideaffects and that my mom, a labor and delivery nurse for over 25 years didn't even support it, she said it was because my mom was old fashioned. She was very rude and insisted I do an ultrasound "just to check" that everything was okay.

She was rude and made assumptions about me that were untrue. She was arrogant and treated me as though I were some lower lever of a human being. Not to mention she did not listen when I was in labor. This was my third child so I knew what to expect. She made me wait to push for an unreasonable amount of time, didn't break my water because they thought it would be "neat". And now I have lower back pain because the pressure on my tailbone for such a long time.

She’s very to the point and always on time! A little intimidating at first, but she definitely knows what she’s doing and ultimately I wanted a doctor who I felt confident in! Definitely recommend her!

Dr. El-Amin is a great doctor. She is the best doctor that I have ever been to. She is a doctor that is caring and compassionate. She always makes you feel comfortable and is really funny. Always on time for appointments and gives you the information that you need. I would recommend her to anyone!!!!

Arrogant. Did not take my questions seriously. Did not hear my concerns about my newborn while I was in the hospital. I am a healthcare provider myself.

She was really rude to me & fought with me about my decisions for my body about birth control. I had mirena & it causes me to gain 70lbs within a month or so & she said that it wasn't the mirena, it was giving me mood swings, & headaches & she said it was all in my head & it wasn't because mirena states it on their website as side effects of mirena. She basically refuseD to take it out of me & when she did she was really rough & used way to big of a clamp on me & with her being an obgyn she knew
