Dr. Ravi Shah, MD

I’m speechless (in the best of ways) and cannot recommend Dr. Shah more highly. Everything from his subject knowledge, to his compassion, to his bedside manner, made the most difficult time in my life easier to deal with. I am forever grateful for his expertise. Thank you, Dr. Shah, for everything you’ve done.

I saw Dr. Shah for a second opinion on my diagnosis and because I was in need of a new Hematologist closer to me. Unfortunately, he is leaving the practice near me so I won't be able to continue to see him, however he was extremely helpful! Not only did he explain my bloodwork to me line by line, something my other hematologist never did, he took the time to listen to ALL of my health concerns and gave me multiple referrals! HIGHLY recommend! If he was not leaving the West Nyack location, I would 100% choose him as my doctor.

I have a very rare disease, “Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia”, and he took what was a very complicated and rare medical history, and compounded it into a clear and concise diagnosis. He did this all, while incorporating such a wonderful bedside manner, and consideration of my family members that were also a member of my care team. He also manages yet ANOTHER rare illness of mine. It is BEYOND evident that this man dedicates his full time and energy into his work. I am alive and well, even with a rare chronic illness because of the way this wonderful doctor listens, comprehends, gathers information, and assesses his patients beyond what is required of an ordinary practitioner. God bless Dr. Shah, and all of his future endeavors. And God bless him for all of the work, and lives he has saved thus far.

Cancer is scary and not easy to deal with, but Dr. Shah makes it as easy as it can be. He explains all of your options and lays out a clear treatment plan, while answering all of your questions. He also has a phenomenal bedside manner and is very calming, which is very helpful when you are anxious and terrified.
