Dr. Ravi Kondapalli, MD

prep instructions were very confusing and print was way too small to read... way too much salt in prep drink raised my pressure high! Needs to revamp prep. Anesthesiologist was intimidating and very gruff.

Would leave zero stars if I could. Dr. Kondapalli was rude, dismissive, and condescending. I was shocked since he was highly recommended by my Primary Dr. He couldn’t have been any less caring, scoffed when I gave him my health history and past treatment and he told me I’ve obviously had terrible prior doctors. When I mentioned that I was told I needed gallbladder surgery he jumped down my throat telling me a surgeons job is to recommend surgery and said “SO, you’re just going to have surgery?!?” Then he had the nerve to have his Secretary call me the next day and tell me that once he looked at my scan, he agreed I needed surgery. I couldn’t get out of his office fast enough and walked right past the line of desks where I was supposed to book a procedure with him. If he thinks it’s OK to treat patients like he did while they are sitting in front of him, I can’t imagine what he’d do while those same patients are under anesthesia. Wouldn’t let him touch me with a 10 foot pole!

Dr. Kondapalli is great but the back office is terrible. Leaving multiple messages on several office response lines and even his nurse's voice mail and not getting any replies back to my messages. My scheduled procedure was cancelled but I was never called or emailed.

Worst ever- he was rude - refused to listen- see another doctor if it is more than basic, because he will not listen

Dr. Kandapaliis highly competent, thorough, compassionate, and personable.

The entire colonoscopy experience went smoothly from the first meeting through recovery. Professional , friendly and efficient .

Dr. Kondapalli is a skilled and compassionate physician with a big, pleasant personality. He is my doctor and also my husband's. We both have recently had those dreaded colonoscopies and his personal care and that of his office and staff got us in and out and back to our busy lives. With any luck you may only see him only every 3, 5,or 10 years, but he is just as kind and competent each time. Do not hesitate to register as a patient!

Does not listen. I was very sick and going on disability. He wrote I could do most things the opposite of what was discussed during visits. Immediately changed to a GI at the USF center in Tampa. After more than a year after seeing me he filled documents for my disability claim without my knowledge with unfavorable information. Found this out when I received a denial letter from my LTD insurance. It took me much longer to get disability approved because of his uncaring and unhelpful behavior.

He is the best! Very easy to talk to. Dr. and Nurse both made me feel at east, not rushed at all. Answered my questions, and made sure that I understood and made sure that I had no more questions. Made the worst time in my life much easier to get through. Best Dr. I ever met!

I found Dr. Kondapalli okay at first, but after a couple of procedures, he began to be rude and disrespectful to me. I don't know what changed with him, it was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, he feels he is to above his patients to discuss their conditions with them, all he wants to do is the procedure and send you on your way. If you want a Dr you can discuss your condition with, I would not recommend Dr. Kondapalli.

Dr. Kondapalli is a credit to his profession.

I would recommend the doctor, but his office staff has much room for improvement

He and staff are kind, caring and pleasant. The facility is extremely clean. The Dr never makes you feel rushed and answers all questions to aid in understanding what problems you have. The very closely keep appointment time schedules. Excellent!!

I have been seeing Dr. K for at least seven years and would highly recommend him for both responsiveness and skill.
