The little things
Had a great appointment. 9-20 Felt Dr. Gunturi was thorough in my physical and ended with a tetanus shot. Since the shot I have had some pain in my arm along with swelling, redness, and what appears to be a knot at the injection site. I went back for another appointment today 9-24 paying my $40 copay. While there I was curious if someone could also look at my arm just to be on the safe side. Of course I was told that I would need to make yet another appointment with yes you guessed it another copay. I HATE that the medical system is so concerned with collecting copays and billable care than actually what is best for the patient. It would have taken less than a minute to look it over and put my mind at ease. This was a new doctor office for me but unfortunately looks like I will have to do more searching. When people-businesses show you who they are. Believe them !
