Dr. Rashmi Vaidya, MD

Having been diagnosed with breast cancer, very scary. Dr Vaidya was so thorough, caring, understanding, compassionate. She fully explained everything to me. I cannot thank her enough for all she’s done for me. Top notch #1

Dr. Vaidya discussed my case and explained the surgical procedure to be done. She is patient and understanding in answering all questions prior and post-surgery. She impressed me to where if I should need similar surgery again, I would request her services. The office is very clean, organized and with nice but appropriate decor. The staff are professional and caring in the service they provide to you. I can highly recommend this office and Dr. Vaidya.

This surgeon doesn’t have an ounce of kindness or compassion. Can’t speak to competence because I left her office in tears and would never let someone of this caliber be involved in my care . She refuses to answer any question's you may have. She will talk without taking a breath and make you feel like you are not a human being. I felt I was put though a meet grinder in the rushed 15 minutes for a new patient visit after she was over 30 min late for it. Her excuse was that she had to do a procedure. When you fill out paperwork for the practice there is a form to sign, that I have never experienced at another doctors office. It states something to the effect that you may not be rude to the office staff. Perhaps Dr. Vaidya should be signing one on how to respectfully treat her patients. There is no circumstances that I can think of which would justify r this doctors behavior.

Dr Vaidya was caring, informative and patient as she addressed all of my concerns and questions, helping me make the most informed and best decision for my situation. My surgical experience went well and my recovery was uneventful as I followed all of her tips and videos. I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon under very stressful circumstances. Highly recommend!

Dr. Vaidya is an amazing doctor. Superb surgeon. Excellent people’s skills. Has been extremely informative about my condition and surgery. Spent all the time I needed to address my concerns and answer my questions. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. I would highly recommend her.

When you first find out you have cancer, besides being in shock, you have lack of direction of what to do next. I was recommended by my primary care Doctor and a friend. I’m very please with the care and compassion I received with Dr. Vaidya. I got in to see her right away. She answered all my questions helped me make important decisions. Performed my surgery, and help me through recovery. I feel grateful to have found her, and would highly recommend Dr. Vaidya to anyone battling cancer.

I am very pleased with the treatment I have received at Ironwood Cancer Center. Dr. Vaidya explained everything well every time i would go see her. I had my surgery with her and I must say she is an incredible doctor, she has a great team that took good care of me. The surgery went great and now I look forward to a great healing process. Upon introduction, I met this young looking female doctor that was so interested in my case, made me feel at ease as we spoke, explained everything in detail, showed me the biopsy images and explained each image. She took her time, answered my questions clearly, and I did not feel rushed during our visit. I felt comfortable having her as my surgeon in the ensuing days.

Within a week of diagnosis, this team got me scheduled and on the road to surgery. Dr. Vaidya is a fantastic surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. The care and support I received was overwhelming. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Vaidya!

I had my second surgery in 2022 with Dr. Rashmi Vaidya, and I must say she is an awesome doctor and surgeon, I give her a 5 star rating. I have no pain after both of them. My first was in Jan 2022, not cancer. My second surgery was on Dec. 20th of 2022, and it was a grade 1 cancer with one lymph node involved. She made one long cut and did her work. In 2015 another doctor took out some lumps that were not cancer and for 6 weeks I was in pain. Hands down Dr. Rashmi Vaidya is a great surgeon.

Dr Vaidya made me feel very comfortable on my initial visit. She explained all of my test results and listened to my concerns regarding surgery. I did not feel rushed or pushed into making a decision without knowing all my options. The staff was great at getting me scheduled for surgery and pre-op orders in a timely manner. Dr Vaidya performed the surgery and my recovery is going great. I highly recommend Dr Vaidya and her staff.

Dr. Vaidya and her whole team were amazingly kind and helpful every step of the way. She made very thoughtful recommendations and always took the time to answer all of my questions. Dr. Vaidya actually listened to me and didn't make me feel like a number. She listened to me and did what was right for me. The other breast surgeons I met with didn't listen to me and made me feel like a number. I will be recommending Dr. Vaidya to anyone in need. She does better with me than what anyone else does. Her information is clear and informative.
