I’m so lucky
I had an anulear tear in my spine. He gave me a total disc replacement ! It’s been 14 years. I have never hurt again. I do use my chiropractor to give me adjustments.

This guys gave me a discogram to try to figure out where my pain was coming from. They were 4 weeks late scheduling my procedure and the pain meds he gave me to get through the procedure were gone because of them being a month late getting the procedure done. I asked him for a refill due to this and he gave me none. For those of you who don't know what a discogram is it is EXTREMELY painful. After the discogram, I am in terrible pain and if it weren't for another Dr. performing a nerve ablation on me I would be living in a ditch due to my inability to function. AVOID THIS DR! He DOES NOT know what he is doing and DUMPS you when things don't go according to HIS schedule.

God sent!! Dr.Roybal and his staff are truly amazing. Super caring. I had a ACD and a total disc replacement. I was incredibly nervous but Dr. Roybal and his staff were very comforting. Melissa called me right after surgery and check up on me all weekend to insure i was doing OK. If i could give him 100 stars i would. Highly recommend!

I honestly have to say I am not a fan of his. 5 plus years ago he recommended a spinal fusion. I had it done. Now with my job I stand 98 percent of my day as well as used to pushed approx 1000 carts of good around, etc. He said I was fine to go back to work after 8 weeks. After reminding him of my job duties he said I would be fine and to just take it easy. No light duty note, etc. Shortly thereafter, blinding g shocking lights, numbing pain etc. They did a ct and imagine that! The cage and other paraphernalia had shifted so whenever my back was over used and enflamed the screw was touching a nerve. I also have moderate to severe fibromyalgia so this didn't help. He said he guessed he shouldn't have sent me back so soon. Five years later....appt to see Roybal and her his PA...who is quite wonderful but not him. Ct with myleogram....moderate to severe spinal stenosis and arthrosis, bone spurs, a bulging disc, I get Roybal this time. By now my pain has been so bad that th

Second time trying to write a review. We waited 2 1/2 hours to see Dr. Roybal. Appointment was with him specifically. Had seen the PA weeks before. After 21/2 hours the PA came in and started talking with us. We asked to see the doctor. She said we would have to wait longer to see him. We were not happy. Conversation ensued in which she accused us of being rude and demeaning (because we wanted to see him not her). We waited 20 mins more and no one came. We left. No way to treat patients

I wish I had gone by his reviews. I had back surgery in November. I was told 6-8 weeks recovery time. Well needless to say it’s about to be September and I still don’t see myself going back to work any time soon. I came out of surgery complaining of numbness in areas that were fine. Surgery was to correct one side, now I have issues on the opposite side. He and his staff were very unconcerned with my issues. He said there is nothing else he can do for me, then sent me to pain management. Don’t!

Sorry I used Him – Aug 29, 2018

This has been the worst experience of my life. I had my surgery June 10, 2018. I reported for surgery at 11:00 and had to sit in the back until 5:00pm to have my surgery. Since my surgery, I’ve been in so much pain. My pain is worst now after surgery then before. My first post op visit I had so many questions for him but he sent his nasty PA. Her professional attitude is horrible. My left leg and foot feels like they are dying from lack of circulation. Need pain medication all day. Depressed.

Terrible experience. He could not wait to do surgery, but after the fact... He was not helpful and seemed to care less about my recovery experience and return to work. Can I put zero stars?

best doctor that I've ever seen!!! support staff has a lot to be desired!!! Call for prescription to be refilled and they are not taking care of!!!! each time I am giving a different version of what should happen. and this don't seem to be a problem with just me.. have been in office waiting room and seen numerous patients come in with the same problem. not a good situation for the patients.

While friendly andcknowledgable Dr Roybal frequently leaves you waiting for up to 2 hours - often then his PA shows up - and she is nice but often cannot answer all questions. The office staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. You - the patient are not treated well here
