Dr. Rao Chimata, MD

Dr. Chimata was our primary care physician for many years and we recommended him to family and friends. For this reason, it was very disappointing when he handled a hip injury my daughter suffered in a way that seemed driven not by an interest in her well-being but rather by a desire to maximize charges. Furthermore, Dr. Chimata was angry when I opted for physical therapy rather than drugs and surgery to address a shoulder injury. If you prefer try low-tech approachs first, avoid Dr. Chimata.

This Dr is horrible. He ignored my Mother’s symptoms calling her severe pains arthritis and acted as if she was abusing pain meds. All along she had stage 4 cancer. The pain she was experiencing was cancer in her bones. He and his office staff are rude. His nurse smells of cigarettes. Stay far away!

Dr Chimata is a wonderful doctor and person,He takes the time to explain the results of diagnosis,lab work and makes knowledgeable decisions.He takes the time to ask about everyday life and your family .I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor.Ruthie used to be the nurse and now office manager is outstanding too. .You never feel rushed at his office like some Drs do these days !!
