Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy, MD

My husband and I wanted to conceive a baby naturally. Unfortunately, he had had a vasectomy 11 years prior . We were given little to no hope by many doctors but Dr. Ramasamy give us hope ! He preformed a 4 hour surgery to reverse my husbands 11 year old vasectomy. After everything , we were told it was successful ! My husband has a sperm count a month later . Unfortunately after trying to convince for one year , he went back for an evaluation and was told his seminal ducks where both blocked with scar tissue and his count was back to zero . Trusting in Dr. Ramasamy , he prescribed my husband an anti inflammatory medication in hopes it would help but told us it was just worth a try . Needless to say , I was pregnant that very month ! We now have a beautiful 4 year old daughter thanks to this wonderful doctor

I have no idea why Dr. Ramasamy would ever have anything less than 5 stars. Most the reviews I have read are about insurance and billing not about the work this Dr. does. Insurance and fertility payments are stressful but should not be used to leave a review for his work. We flew to Miami after being treated by countless male fertility specialist that were rude and unsuccessful. We finally found Dr. Ramasamy and he is truly the top in his field. My husband’s procedure was successful and the care he received was the best. Dr. Ramasamy was amazing all the way around! He was kind, respectful, and knew what he was doing.

Dr. Ramasamy & UHealth is awful, incompetent, & unethical. As an in-network Aetna provider, my office visits were covered. Leading up to my wife's egg retrieval at IVFMD, I left several voicemails & sent several portal messages to Dr. Ramasamy, his office staff & the billing department inquiring about my procedure date/time/location & informing them that Aetna requires a pre-auth (which they should already know per their Aetna contract.) NONE of my calls or messages were returned. Four days prior to my procedure I received an email with info & was told to bring my ID & insurance card, even though they already had it on file. When I arrived on the morning of my surgery, I was informed to pay $6,500 or I don't get the procedure. As my wife was at IVFMD having her egg retrieval, this was a very time sensitive manner to create our embryos. What a DISGUSTING experience to have to figure out how to pay almost $7k at 6 am, & completely against Aetna's contract. DO NOT RECOMMEND, GO ELSEWHERE!

I went with fertility issues and was diagnosed with a severe case of varicocele. He performed the surgery and was very honest about the prospects of having children. I knew my chances were slim, but was pleasantly surprised when I was able to father a child within a year. My son is my greatest joy and I owe that to God for having Dr. Ramasamy as my surgeon. His attitude is very pleasant and he is very humble and kind. I continue to see Dr. Ramasamy for TRT. He is the best and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Waste of money! Spoke to him about fertility. A simple conversation ended up costing me $500 out of pocket since insurance doesn’t cover anything fertility. Not to mention my appointment was at 10am and I left there around 1pm because they took so long. Do not recommend

Dr. Ramasamy was very knowledgeable and friendly made my appointment and procedure scheduling super simple , would recommend to anyone who is shy about there situation he knows how to speak to you and make an awkward situation Not so awkward . 5 stars all the way .

I recently had an outpatient procedure performed by Dr. Ramasamy at the Lennar Center in Coral Gables. This doctor is professional, no-nonsense, and very friendly. I highly recommend him.

2001 I did a Vasectomy and in 2019 reverse Vasectomy. Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy is highly recommended from other Doctors. I went into surgery and came out extremely happy with the results. He also removed a cyst and a tiny piece of broken staple in the sack. Dr. Ramasamy work is nothing short of perfection. He is the Picasso of Surgeons. Symmetry is perfect. What I loved the most is that if anything else needs to be addressed you can be assured it will be done and he won't ask for more cost. Amazing

My IVF clinic scheduled an appt. with Dr. Ramasamy for microTese procedure due to a zero-sperm count. On the day of the visit, he found that I had varicocele and suggested varicocele surgery as an effective alternative and less expensive method of increasing sperm production. I am happy to announce that because of Dr. Ramasamy's procedure; my sperm count increased and we are pregnant! I recommend Dr. Ramasamy to male infertility patients looking for a compassionate doctor that drives results!

My doctor (Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy) recommended a procedure that required a pre-authorization from my health insurance carrier (Humana). There were other forms of treatment available (traditional and less expensive) but this is the treatment that was recommended and performed without authorization from my insurance. Now I'm being billed a great deal of money when I was made to believe insurance would cover the procedure. I no longer trust this doctor or the Uhealth system.

Knowledgeable, patient, and state of the art doctor! Dr. Ramasamy has continued to gain our trust, through his innovative research and patient care. Don't let his youth fool you - he has experience in research, surgery, and teaching the latest techniques to the up and coming urologists. He's the doctor to have in your corner!

Without a doubt the best doctor I have ever seen. Dr. Ramasamy has been integral in keeping both my physical and mental health maintained throughout my visits. If you are looking for someone in the girl of Urology, he is the doctor to see.

Perfect bedside manner. Also, the only doc, after seeing at least 5 others, who was able to diagnose a years long issue I'd had. Very grateful he has an office near my home now as well. I can't recommend him enough. Lastly, saved me from a potential nightmare of a vasectomy. He didn't just take the money for a surgery I was requesting. Rare to see.

When I first met with Dr. Ramasamy I discussed with him the importance of budgeting for my medical expenses. We went over the cost of the visit as well as a follow up procedure. At my first appt, he ordered blood tests from an onsite lab; within an hour he had the results. After my follow up procedure I received an invoice for the lab work which he never mentioned. I attempted to discuss this matter with the Dr. or his office staff, I have yet to receive any response. So far he is ignoring me.

Doctor was rude, condescending and arrogant. I would not recommend him.
