Looking for a new PCP
I've had several really bad experiences at this office. To be fair, they were mostly with the PA, but when I told Dr Anbarasu she shrugged it off (one mis-hap nearly hospitalized me because I was misdiagnosed and given a script that made my bad symptoms much worse). Another time her PA prescribed me a med and at the next appt when I mentioned getting a refill Dr. Anbarasu was asking ME how and where I got the prescription. Later I mentioned the issues I'd had to the office mgr and she apologized but I got the impression this is a fairly common complaint and the answer I was given was that I should only see the Dr moving forward and not see her P.A. Not a great solution and not convenient in situations where you're ill.

Patient Care is not a top priority
Dr. Anbarasu cares more about checking a box that actually providing patient care. 4 visits, multiple tests and still not patient assistance. I never felt like Dr. Anbarasu listened to my concerns. The office staff is disorganized, rude and annoyed if you ask for any clarification on appointment or dr. notes. I am no longer a patient.

I have been Dr. Anbarasu's patient since the beginning of 2021 and have been extremely happy with my care. Dr. Anbarasu is a knowledgeable and experienced Internal Medicine physician. She is also a caring and compassionate person who listens to her patients and provides answers in a clear and concise manner. I rate her highly and have been recommending her as a primary care physician to all of my friends and family. Her staff, especially Paige, are also awesome!

I have been with Dr. Anbarasu for 9 years and I highly recommend her practice. Her professional staff has helped me walk through problems and Page always has my referrals update. In these stressful times it's a blessing to have a doctor who really cares.

Dr Anbarasu is very friendly and helpful with my complaints (sick). We have been seeing her now for maybe 8 years and are very comfortable with her. She gets to the fix of the problem soon. The staff now is helpful and friendly and that is a plus. Would recommend Dr Anbarasu to anyone looking for a family doctor.

Doctor is great! Staff sucks. Whether it's medication or referrals the front office DOES NOT CARE! It took more than 2 WEEKS to find out if I was eligible to receive a particular medicine. NO one called me. I had to call daily to follow up. I've been a patient for less than 8 months and I've required 3 different specialist referrals. I've physically driven to 2 of those offices where they hadn't received the referrals after more than a WEEK. This last (3rd) referral has taken more than a week. I've called the facility multiple times and NEVER get a live person and it takes days to receive return calls. I finally had the specialist's schedule coordinator contact Dr. Rani Anbarasu's staff to figure out WHY the referral wasn't sent. Turns out they were faxing to the telephone number not the fax number. After being provided the correct information it has still been 2 days and the referral hasn't arrived. I don't know if Anbarasu's staff is just that incompetent or if they genuin

I moved my visits to Saturdays since I always had to wait to get in. On my last visit I waited an hour and a half to get into a room, waited another 15 mins. only to have a trainee come in and spend another 15 mins asking for my history (which they already had in their computer). When the doctor finally came in it was for no longer than 5 minutes. She has no respect for her patient's time and I have since found someone in a larger practice who is on time, professional and genuinly cares for their patients. There are so many other qualified and more professional Internal Medicine doctors in North Dallas so I highly recommend staying away from Dr. Anabarasu.

Wait times are consistently an hour or more. AND a left over Pap smear specimen and all the dirty gloves and left in the room from the previous patient. If that’s left, what else is lingering in those rooms

Dr. Anbarasu has been my doctor for a long time. She is very caring and thorough with her patients. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but I know it's because she's spending time with someone else and will do the same with me. There seems to have been a change in the front office staff. The new ladies are much nicer. I would recommend Dr. Anbarasu to anyone.
