In addition to being extremely competent and knowledgeable, Dr. Davis is one of the most caring, empathetic, and down to earth physicians I have ever encountered. He takes the time to explain treatment options and answers questions thoroughly. He never rushes your time with him. Although he no longer performs surgical procedures, he’s performed a number of lumbar facet and medial branch injections to control my lumbar and sciatic nerve pain. The injections have definitely helped and offered a few pain-free days but, ultimately, surgery with fusion will be necessary for long-term pain relief. He recommended another highly regarded surgeon to perform the procedure. Unlike too many surgeons, Dr. Davis views surgery as being the final option rather than the first. You can trust that if he recommends surgery, it’s definitely necessary and not recommended lightly.

Dr Davis is one of the best doctors around. He cares about the patients and will give you the best options out there. He doesn’t push surgery like some other ones.

Dr. Davis did my cervical spine surgery about 6 years ago. I think about him often whenever I have a moment to realize I'm comfortable and not in pain! He was a compassionate doctor who called me personally to check on me. I feel very lucky to have had my spine in his hands.

Dr. Davis is very knowledgeable in his field. He is very patient and he takes his time to explain diagnosis/options available. I have confidence in solutions he offers. He shows empathy, he’s not in a hurry to get you out of the door like most doctors do.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr Davis since he moved Maryland, in tht time I have had both Cervical fusion in 2008, Lumbar fusion in 2018 with excellent results. I have always been treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. In October of this past year, after breaking my back and asking to have him to see; I was told by another Orthopedist that nothing could be done. In January 2019, I saw Dr. Davis for a final follow up appointment, during which I told him of the incident. He was visibly upset, then told me there are two options; one instrumentation which he would not preform do to as much pain afterwards the opther called a Sacralplasty. This involved a Radiologist injecting a surgical 'cement in to the sacral fracture thereby fusioning the breaks. I had the procedure soon after with an 85% reduction in pain. This is the type of care he provided in the 34 years I have known him. In that time, I have referred others to him.

Dr Davis's office sent my bill to collections instead of billing my health insurance. I had Blue Cross and Tricare. Now I have a bill that I'm not supposed to pay. I have 100 % coverage and they didn't bill my health insurance.

Dr. Davis preformed my cervical disk replacement in March 2015. He was incredibly kind during pre-surgery appointments & called me at home to check on my well being. When we finally came to the conclusion surgery was needed, he made me feel comfortable. He sat me in his personal office to show me the procedure on a fake set of bones. I had 5 bulging discs, he planned to replace 2 but found that a 3rd was needed during surgery. follow up/scaring was 5 stars. Very professional & knowledgeable.
