I’m Still In DISBELIEF !
My wife has 3 Neurological Diseases, yet has not had a Neurologist for 25 years because of insurance. Dr. Shey took her insurance, so I rushed her to see him immediately. He greeted us very abruptly, and became increasingly rude from there. He said he read the long questionnaire I filled out, and asked, “What can I do for you ?” I told him I was hoping to FINALLY have a Neurologist for my wife after all these years without one. And he said over and over, “Well WHAT do you want me to do for her ? You know there is no cure for what your wife has, so WHY did you bring here here ?” And I was stunned - dumbfounded ! And I said I guess I made a huge mistake, and I got my wife out of there immediately. And when my wife was in the hospital recently for a broken leg, the Neurologist assigned to her said, “I went to Medical school with Dr. Shey, and he was OBNOXIOUS AND RUDE just like that 45 years ago - a TERRIBLE BEDSIDE MANOR ! You picked the WORST Dr. in the world for your wife.

I was referred to Dr. Shay for a nerve test. It was awful! After the test, the results never made it to my doctor. Very unorganized office??

Poorly run office . Dr Shey is rude, insensitive and nonprofessional. He hurt me doing a test on me and walked out leaving me bleeding. Did not follow through with needed report for an upcoming surgery with another doctor. Find another doctor!

First visit with Dr. Shey today. Office staff very cordial as was the nurse who took my vitals, etc. Dr. Shey did an exam and I'm sure will consider what he found along with the results of further tests he ordered. I found him to be easy to talk to and non-judgemental about my rather uneducated state of mind regarding my situation. I especially appreciated the fact that he expressed his opinion regarding a particular treatment plan option I am considering. I look forward to seeing him agai

The office is very unorganized. They office staff will not answer the telephone and if by chance you are able to leave a message you do not get a call back. Dr. Shey does not treat you like a human being. He does a lot of shoulder shrugs.

Great doctor, very unorganized office staff. On two occasions, refilled prescriptions were not faxed to our mail order pharmacy, and caused a month delay in receiving prescriptions that the patient has to take every day. Poor communication office staff to patient.

I saw him for the first time today after a referral from my family doctor, and I was completely unimpressed. His staff accidentally cancelled my appointment, but never called to tell me this. No one ever even said I'm sorry. He was completely dismissive and rude. he even ROLLED HIS EYES at me. Unprofessional.
