Best neurologist in TN
Dr. Trudell is the most caring, most knowledgeable and compassionate Dr in TN. He literally helped save my life (brain mass) and continues to help me navigate the seizures I've had since the surgery. (10. Years now). Thank you for the best care any Dr. Has ever offered. It's made a difference in my life and my family's lives.

Worse doctor I've ever had. Really nice guy but worthless to me as a physician. I've had MS for 27 years.. I don't think he's ever treated an MS patient. I doubt if he read any of my records. I've called his office at least 5 times over the last couple of months with questions and requests. He called me back after the first 2 or 3 messages and apologized for not calling sooner. I've been having a relapse and he hasn't helped at all. I asked for an MRI. He ordered one, but just for my brain. It should have been for my brain AND spine. I've only received one call from his office. I've repeatedly left messages asking for help. Crickets.

I have MS and congestive heart failure. I had a serious flareup in 2015, part of which which had first been mistakenly diagnosed as Bell’s. After a bad response to those drugs, I was then prescribed Acthar Gel for the flareup. It was months later, after going through literal hell after the Acthar, I found that it was very specifically contraindicated for anyone with heart issues. I’d almost died. And through all of it his office treated me as though I was ‘inconvenient’. Never again.

The staff is terrible. Dr. Trudell doesn't follow thru with his planned treatment. He is nice, but not thorough. The practice is overwhelming busy herding patients like sheep. The staff is so horrible to deal with I'd rather get worse than bother them

I have PPMS and Dr Trudell takes his time to talk to me. I have seen him 5 years and not once have I felt like he has rushed through an appointment. If you are looking for pain medication then he isn't the doctor to see, but he will treat your illness.
