Dr. Reese recommends some very outdated medical advice that is counter to what newer research shows to be safe & effective. For example, he advises supplementing a 2-month old infant’s formula with rice cereal to help reduce reflux. A 2-month old’s gut is not yet ready to digest ANY solids for several more months yet. And, rice cereal is no longer the recommended solid food to start a baby of any age on (rice being naturally contaminated with trace amounts arsenic should be AVOIDED in babies!).
