I had an appt with another reputable doctor to receive a treatment; however, because I am in the UCLA Health Medical system, I really wanted to see a UCLA doctor. After canceling what was basically a dire appt based on the info provided to me by Dr. Espinoza’s office, I found out I had been completely conned. During the first call, I was advised the treatment would be $500. Today, when they called back to schedule the appt, I was told the $500 was only the price of the medication. There was an additional $750 on top of that for use of facility and the infusion process. $1250? Why would anyone quote someone the price of a treatment less than half of the actual cost? A standard price for this treatment is $330-$600 - all inclusive. I RARELY write bad reviews but it is not acceptable to play number games when dealing with people’s well being.
