Disappointment
I have been a patient of Dr Sommer for more than 20 years. I never had an issue until I tried making an appointment but because I haven’t been there in 3 years I was classified as a new patient and they aren’t accepting new patients. So because I didn’t have issues I am being penalized to having to find a new primary

I Could Not Ask for a Better Doctor
Dr. Sommer has been my doctor for more than 10 years. He is my husband’s doctor and the doctor of several close friends and at least four other family members. He listens carefully, is broadly knowledgable, is willing to think outside the box, is appropriately cautious about over prescribing, and is very responsive. I trust him and he seems to respect me as a patient. I also never feel rushed when I see him. He is definitely in demand and sometimes I wait a bit. But I figure that his care is well worth that small inconvenience. I figure he’s simply taking the time to listen to his patients before me, and I wouldn’t change a thing about that. It’s a true reflection of the quality of his care, his character, and his compassion.

Simply The Best
He has been my primary care physician for over 30 years. It is hard to find a doctor who is board certifed in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology! It is a great combo when you are getting older. He is very responsive to his patients which is rare these days.

Dr. Sommer is a excellent physician. He is very through. I trust him. He has been my doctor for many years. I am completely satisfied. With his medical expertise and God, I have conquered a number of trying obstacles and illnesses. I‘m .thankful for his skills. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I just had my first appointment with Dr. Sommer. Dr. Sommer is thorough, very patient, explains information to your understanding, listens to your concerns and compassionate. He exceeded my expectations and I would be glad to recommend him to others. I left my appointment feeling confident about him being my doctor, and most of all he gained my trust in his decision making and recommendations.

Dr. Sommer is truly a very caring and excellent,smart, physician. He returns phone calls himself, within a short amount of time. He takes care of you while in St.Luke's Hosp. makes visits at least daily. He listens to you, and will go to all ends to help get you well. Thank you Dr. Sommer for all you do.
