Horrible doctor
Dr. McKay insisted, word by word translation to my mom that she has end stage liver cancer, 100% ABSOLUTELY diagnosed, 100% ABSOLUTELY incurable, mom can choose dialysis(only way to choose dialysis is full disclosure to my mom per her). SO CRUEL and matter of fact (we hope her and her family never need go through things like this). Mom passed away the same day. Diagnosis was made the 1st day, the previous Oncologist Dr. Cohen planned to start treatment with FDA approved specific immunotherapy Imfinzi. Unfortunately, due to every two weeks Oncology doctor rotation, after Dr. McKay taking over the care, No treatment offered and we were asked to give up any treatment, aka hope.

Provider was more than an hour late for consult without explanation. Did not provide new knowledge nor explore personalized options for "wholistic" care as promoted in presentations. In at least two instances provider was wrong according to professional documents. May recommend cancer health service center, but not doctor.

I met with Dr. McKay ( along with my son) today 4/18/19 to discuss my possible renal cell carcinoma and a clinical trial. We both were completely blown away by her relaxed unhurried manner, her extraordinary explanation of my particular situation and CT scan, medical concerns, friendliness, good humor and overall expertise. She described a plan that made sense to both of us to which we agreed . Neither of us have ever experienced a more satisfying medical office experience discussing
