Dr. Ramin Fathi, MD

During my initial skin check with Dr. Fathi said there was a spot he needed to freeze and it would be a deep one. He froze the spot without showing me where it was or asking about it. When I got home, I noticed that he had frozen a quarter sized spot that was a head bump injury I had over a week earlier. Had he asked I could have told him what it was. His response during my next appt. was “I can’t tell you how many patients have told me things like that.” I guess Dr. Fathi doesn’t make mistakes but he sure did on this one. Then, before a melanoma surgery, the staff member doing my injections told me he was a summer intern from UCLA and in premed. I was quite surprised to have a summer intern doing my injections for this serious of a surgery. During the procedure Dr. Fathi had to do additional injections because I could feel pain when he was cutting. Using college summer interns in a medical office for a serious excision does not build confidence in the doctor or his office.

The office is bright and clean and the staff seems nice. However the time with the doctor was rushed. He raced through the exam and did not explain what he was doing and why. He sort of brushed aside my questions. I won't be returning to this practice.

He is thorough, kind, and extremely intelligent. Our family doctor recommended him and we are so grateful. He instantly puts you at ease. The entire office staff is friendly- I highly recommend Dr. Fathi.....

Medical treatment as it SHOULD be. Dr. Fathi and staff are just wonderful. From the initial experience of speaking with Michelle, the Receptionist to the Dr. visit with Dr. Fathi and Assistant, Jack, I rate this practice a perfect 10/10. Dr. Fathi is extremely qualified and thorough. He explains things very well and procedures are painless. Add to that a spotless, welcoming waiting area and personal interest and approach, I cannot recommend this medical practice enough. Thank you Dr. Fathi and staff.

My husband and I were both thoroughly impressed by Dr. Fathi's office. Dr. Fathi was extremely thorough in his assessment and explanation of his diagnosis. He listened attentively and he did not rush us. Both of our procedures were quick and painless, for removal of moles and lesions. The office is sanitized and very clean. Dr. Fathi follows covid 19 protocols, a great example of his caring for the safety of his patients and staff. The staff are well organized, extremely accommodating, and very friendly. We could not be happier with finding our new dermatologist , thank you Dr. Fathi and staff.

I was seen on August 5, 2020 by Dr. Fathi and his assistant. I had undergone Mohs surgery on 5-12-2020 in Arizona by another dermatologist and was given stitches on my hand. The surgery had gone well except I had discomfort after the healing process. I was in Phoenix, AZ when I sought help and was referred by the Mayo Clinic to Dr. Fathi. I was given an appointment right away and he carefully and thoroughly explained what might have happened. He treated me and my hand healed completely and perfectly. The City of Phoenix is very fortunate to have such an amazing doctor as a skin healthcare provider.

Dr. Fathi is not only an experienced surgeon, He is kind and gentle and though I was very apprehensive and frightened he made me feel comfortable and trusting . I healed perfectly and would trust his skill completely. My husband is a retired surgeon and he was impressed with dr. Fathi
