Wouldn't give even 1 star
My complaint is with his office staff. My husband was scheduled for hip replacement surgery but had to see Dr. Farshi for an EKG prior to the surgery. He was there 3 weeks prior to surgery. Today, 2 days before his hip surgery Farshi's office called and said he won't approve him for surgery without a stress test!! They can't get him in until Weds, the day of his surgery!! Now the surgery is postponed till August and he will be in pain for another 6 weeks because this office staff are lazy and irresponsible!

My last visit after 26 years with his office
On 12/6 I had a 4 o’clock appointment and other than the nurse checking my current medication , blood pressure and heart rate I waited in a room for over 30 minutes and 4:45 with no one coming back to let me know he was busy. A little attention would have gone a long way and when I stepped out to inquire what was going on the answer was “he’s still with someone and what would like me to do?” At that point I said cancel my visit do not charge me or Medicare and I would be leaving. It’s now 12/23 and no one has bothered to reach out and see how I’m doing or even think to apologize and reschedule my appointment. Needless to say I will not be recommending his office not him even after he performed an excellent angioplasty and two stents in 2019.

I have had chronic atrial fibrillation for over ten years. Dr. Farshi has been my cardiologist of record for this entire time. I find his medical skills are excellent. He is very thorough and knowledgeable and provides answers to my queries immediately and honestly. He appears to be very well known and respected by the adjacent West Hills Hospital Emergency Room and Surgical medical staff and doctors. He is compassionate yet very professional. Highly recommended.
