I really appreciated the entire staff. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Calis has a great since of humor and that put me at ease. He answered all of my questions and did not make me feel rushed. His assistant Matthew was very friendly and I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a good doctor.

After suffering miserable care from another podiatry clinic, Dr. Calis delivered very thoughtful care. He thoroughly investigated my condition, listened to my concerns, and clearly explained alternatives for care. I feel secure and confident about the recommended course of care for my feet. I’ve seen many podiatrists over the years, and Dr. Calis surpasses them all.

Always pleasant from beginning to end of visit with staff and Doctor Calis. Dr. Calis showed confidence in his diagnosis which gave me confidence that there was hope for the pain I have experienced for many years.

Dr. Calis was the 3rd doctor I saw for the pain I was experiencing in my foot…….and the only one who helped me! He explained my situation ……and exactly what I needed to do as a last attempt to avoid surgery. In my option, he is an excellent physician who really “knows his stuff”. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Calis devoted time to discuss three separate issues regarding my feet. He addressed each issue separately and responded to my follow-up questions succinctly, allowing me to make informed decisions regarding each issue. During a minor surgical procedure on my large toe, he recognized a unique growth pattern, explained it to me, and adjusted his treatment to correspond with the new information. The result was a perfect healing of the toe with no residual pain nor ongoing concerns.

My husband had a follow-up appointment with Dr. Calis at the Executive Park location. He was running behind and we were immediately notified of the delay. We received regular updates by text while we waited - great idea. He gave us personal attention, listened to our concerns and answered all our questions. All the staff were very attentive.

I've seen Dr. Calis twice for issues with my feet. He is a very talented physician and took the time to talk to me about my issues, listened to my concerns and helped me make the best decision for my treatment plan. As well, he was very nice, caring, and professional. His assistant Matt was great as well! I would highly recommend him!

Had a very pleasant zoom meeting with Dr. Calis who listened to my issues, had me do some probing of my foot, and carefully explained his results to me. I was surprised at how successful a zoom meeting could be.

I had a surgical procedure and it was handled very professionally and with assurance that I was not in pain before the procedure started. I received a telehealth appointment the day after I called. I highly recommend this provider and his support staff.

Dr. Calis treated my "Achilles Calorific Insertional Tendinitis" from 11/13/2019 to 3/31/2020. Previously, I walked with a limp that prevented me from traveling any distance over 1/4 mile without discomfort, a discomfort that required a rest. I received PT under Resurgen's Dr. Scott from 5/2018 to 8/2019, however PT had no noticeable effect. Dr. Scott was recommending surgery. A friend suggested Dr. Labib at Emory who upon examination, suggested Dr. Calis. Dr. Calis used Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy with an Epos Ultra machine to improve my condition. By following Dr. Calais instructions (a boot for 2 weeks / specific stretches / use + rest instructions ) I am now able to walk 2 miles without discomfort and have returned to normal movement. At Dr. Calis's suggestion I am continuing to stretch and perform exercises to further improve my walking health. I am certainly pleased with my shock wave treatment decision over a surgery solution.

I am a lifelong runner. I have been a patient of Dr. Calis for over 20 years and am so grateful to him for keeping me healthy with any issues I have had with my feet. I am 65 and thanks to him I am still running! I totally recommend him to any patient.

Dr. Calis was exceptional. Not only did he address the issue that was causing me pain when another physician could not, he was extremely thoughtful and pleasant. He took the time to adequately explain diagnostic plan, as well as the condition, and how to treat. The entire team, from scheduling to registration, to my office visit was helpful and considerate. Not only has Dr Calis properly diagnosed and treated each of my foot injuries, but he also does not rush through his appts and makes sure you get all your questions answered. Matthew H. (Dr. Calis's assistant) is excellent. He is kind, understanding and extremely professional. Dr. Calis is an outstanding Podiatrist. He does not rush, explains in detail what he is doing/what is going on with your condition. Dr. Calis walked me through a MRI that was taken to show me in detail what was going on with my foot. Highly recommend Dr. Calis!

I have seen Dr. Calis several times over the last two years for ankle and toe injuries. He quickly replied to my email questions and provided instructions as to how to treat the injury until I was able to come to the office. He was able to schedule me quickly, asked relevant background questions and performed a thorough exam. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all questions regarding my injuries and provided advice to questions regarding my niece overseas. I appreciate his time and skill and would very highly recommend him and his team.
