Dr. Ramesh Agarwal, MD

My mother was just in the hospital for heart issues. She has been seeing this Dr for three years now. This is the first time I have met him. Not only is he condescending, he is also very confusing. Talks in circles and makes absolutely no sense. Now to top it off, he had my mom come back for rush bloodwork and an echocardiogram. Then told her make an immediate appointment to come back. Yesterday they called my mom to tell her they have to give her an appointment in April as “He doesn’t see patients more than 1 time a month”. They must know this by now yet still made the appointment for her. The one receptionist refused to cal in her refills stating that she had enough and that the old receipt from the pharmacy said waiting and that meant she had meds waiting for her. Which she did not. I had to call and speak to somebody else to be sure my mother had her heart medication that she needed. Thankfully, we had already scheduled her an appointment for a different cardiologist in two weeks

Poor communication skills, stares at computer monitor instead of looking at the patient. Marginal English skills, poor listening skills. Offc was dirty, staff is not well-groomed or proactive. Unable to obtain information in a simple format. Exam room trash can was overflowing. Have your chemical Stress Test performed at PRMC, where there is state of the art equipment for analysis of your Cardiac issues. Would not recommend.
