Outstanding doctor and very sympathetic and positive personality. He is really a pleasure to have as a doctor. He has an extremely optimistic outlook. He also is extremely available, encouraging patients to call his cell phone with questions,e.g., results of the latest blood tests or cat scan. He answers the cell phone and the questions immediately.

I was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in 2010 when I was 40 years old, and was referred to MD Anderson and assigned to Dr. Zinner. He has prescribed a combination of chemo drugs which has kept the cancer from further spreading since then. It's now 2016 and I've been living a fairly normal life (no night spent in hospital, still working full time). My age (younger than most people I met at MD Anderson) might be a factor, but Dr. Zinner saved my life with his diagnostics and prescriptions.
