My primary sent me to him in a way. I did not like it much. The reviews scared me. I do not like how he reads backs notes or used the word lazy. But he has been a great help and his recommendations have been helpful. I do not think it is possible to be happy to need this type of specialist but having me see a psychiatrist was a good decision and he has done a good job getting me better.

Saw him for mental health while in Salina Behavioral Unit in Salina Kansas. Called him out for being condescending and told him he better check his attitude because I am not the one. He was semi stunned. Back peddled and changed his demeanor with a stuttering sputtering shocked expression. His assistant looked smirky towards him. He tried to be abrupt, and very aloof. Then tried to treat me like I was less than and a bothering inconvenience, as if I was some kind of junkie until I called him out within about 8 minutes of sitting with the man. Should NOT be any kind of Dr. He is dismissive, very rude and has a definite God complex.

I suffer multiple chronic illnesses. After seeing Dr. Bbarati, he chose to remove 5 of my medications he deemed unnecessary for me that were prescribed by specialist in their respective fields. He started they were repetitive and unnecessary. He never addressed the issue I was sent to him to diagnose as I “did not need 1 more medication”. As a result, several of my conditions have become exacerbated and now require more medication that previously and damage to my body that requires surgery now. I would not recommend this doctor.

My original dr has retired so I was transferred to him. I felt like I was such an inconvenience for him. He couldn’t even remember my name. Never even listened to me. His office staff are horrible too. They don’t care about your mental health, just your money. Beware

The worse doctor I’ve ever met; he knows nothing. When I was going to him he used to say that I’ve tried lots of medication and since none of them had worked he doesn’t know what to do and he doesn’t know what to do with me which took away lots of my hope and made me more depressed and hopeless- no wonder he’s a two star doctor

Dr. Bharati was very cruel to a family member. He called them names and told them to get over it. This is completely unprofessional. He refused to prescribe medication that a doctor in his practice had been prescribing. This is a medication that my family member needs on a daily basis for ADD and had been taking for several years with no issue. He gave no notice of not being willing to prescribe the medication. BE AWARE of using this doctor if you want to be treated with any respect.

Unfortunately had to go through the same embarassment as others - I had to see Dr. Bharati because my regular dr retired. After 5 minutes with Dr. Bharati he discontinued a mediation that was working wonderfully after months of adjusting. He was not interested in discussing a new plan, just treated me like a second-class citizen and sent me on my way. Truly a discouraging, confusing experience.

Dr. Ralph Bahrahti met with me for the first time because my old psychiatrist retired so I got moved to Dr. Bharatis case load and he immiately takes me off of a medication that has been helpful for me without asking. I asked to advocate for myself and he said to go see someone else. Very rude. Would not listen. And unprofessional.

Saw Dr. Bharati one time for 15 minutes because my previous doctor had retired & he was assigned to me as my new doctor. I was doing well & anticipated no changes in my meds. Without doing much of a history at all, he discontinued 1 med, changed another & told me he might change a third later. He put me on a med that I had been on before that had been ineffective. He insisted despite my protests. Would not do med management over the phone. It took me 2 years to recover from this visit with him.

I saw this doctor because he was filling in while center is searching for a permanent replacement for great psychiatrist. He is a substance abuse Doctor. Period. He believes when you walk in the door that you are abusing drugs! He does not listen, nor care about patients with legitimate mental health issues. Maybe he thinks we r faking it. I will never see this man again. Also, his assistant? Stays in the room with him. That way he can humiliate you in front of someone else.

The man does not listen. No appearing interest in your actual well-being. Will never see him again. I hope this was just a BAD day for him....but I doubt that this is a rarity.
