Dr. Rakesh Marwaha, MD

This wonderful man has been my doctor since 2009!! I have some pretty severe chronic medical issues [chronic pyelonephritis, endometriosis, hyperthyroidism, chronic pain syndrome, interstitial cystitis as well as having been through 3 major and 1 minor surgical procedures within those many many years. To add a bit more to an already crowded basket of issues, I also suffer from DID, GAD, MDD, ADHD & severe agoraphobia brought on by hyper focusing on other humans. Any human. My medical issues are severe enough that I have been on SSDI since I was 25. I am 39 today. I am quite the stew pot of medical mystery and having to consistently stay one step ahead of the problem is a challenge, putting it mildly. Dr. Marwaha has helped me stay alive and actually got me to a point where, regardless of all of the aforementioned complications mentioned, I am thriving. My two kids have their Momma and this gentleman, and now also his son, Dr. Rachit Marwaha, are to thank. They REALLY CARE ABOUT YOU.

I have been his patient for last 15 years. He is the best dr with superb diagnosis, very caring and compassionate. His wife has always been very nice to me, very sweet to talk to, but the other front desk staff from the old location was kind of difficult sometimes. New office location staff looks to be great so far. Dr is a rockstar!

No, front desk, office staff is rude, not a good customer service

When you are sick you want a warm, inviting experience. You want an understanding and caring ear. You will not find any of that here. The experience before getting to Doc; is unbearable. Rude, condescending, elitist and simply unprofessional. They can’t find charts, provide incorrect information about prescriptions, and don’t follow up on test results! e Don’t waste your time or money. The Doc is really good; but getting to him is an absolute nightmare!

He is the worst doctor ever. Egoistic, unfriendly, money minded doctor I have ever been to. He was pushing all kinds of tests which are done in his office. When I did not show interest... he just walked out of the room without listening to my health issues. He did not even give the right prescription.

He has been our family Dr for over 15+ years! Very dependable and sincere. But of late for the past one year one needs to ask him more questions or interact more to get your answers! That can be disappointing!

I switched Doctors to try to find someone that cares about you and your health and there're so many Dr's out there and I live 45 mins from his Naperville office and my old Dr was 4 mins away and after meeting Dr Marwaha for the 1st time and talking to him it felt like I've known him my whole life! He is a great guy that is down to earth. I have been with him for almost 2 years and don't ever plan on leaving him. He will actually sit down and talk to you and he remembers exactly were we left off

I should have read the reviews 1st before I went to see Dr. The visited started off good, seem like he was listening about my health condition. He was sppse to call in some prescriptions to Walgreens, never happened.I called the office several times no response, until I called the front desk.They said they wld have the prescriptions sent over, never hppnd.I had some blood work done and had to go back.His wife wanted to charge me $300 to c him and I have no copay. I took my paperwork and left.

I changed to Dr Marwaha a few years ago because my other Dr was treating me like a Guinea pig and giving me a medicine to help with another medicine. So I switched to Dr Marawaha and he is amazing he actually takes the time to listen to me and got me off a lot of Meds I didn’t need to be on. If you are looking for someone that cares Dr Marwaha is your Dr. Thanks Doc!

Dr. Marwaha is a wonderful doctor! He took care of my father for many years and kept him healthy until he died at 89. He currently, takes care of my mom and does a great job with her - she is not always easy to please. He takes care of my immediate family including four teenage/young adult boys. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a compassionate bedside manner.

I have been a patient of Dr. Marwaha for over 20 years. He has been an excellent doctor in every way. He always takes the time to listen to me and my concerns, which is a benchmark for excellent care. His willingness to actually listen to his patients can contribute to occasional long waiting periods in the office.. The staff is diligent in scheduling appointments in urgent situations..

Dr. made inappropriate comment to female patient, while alone in exam room. Dr. called her husband by telephone, yelling, making false accuasions about patient running out on the bill, then hung up on my husband. (Dr. know from previous visit, that patient had full insurance coverage). Filthy dirty office. Staff rude and disinterested. Long, long wait times

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Marwaha . I had seen a different dr for many years and she brushed off most of my complaints. I felt as if I meant nothing to her and that my health suffered as a consequence. I was able to get in and see the dr quickly.. he listened to me and helped me ..I can not express how much relief I felt as I left his office..finally someone listened to me..helped and came up with a treatment plan. Staff is very pleasant. .I would recommend Dr.Marwaha.

Waiting period is pathetic . If you are ready to spend each time 2-3 hours to see the doctor then he is a best doctor . Response is worst after visit.
