Great care
I have had a mallet pinky for about eight years. I was always afraid to undergo surgery, so I opted for steroid shots instead. When Dr. Bolson became my doctor, she informed me that I could no longer continue the shots, which led me to decide it was time for surgery. She did an incredible job by inserting a pin during the procedure. Her care was excellent even after the surgery. I also want to mention her medical assistant, Sammy, who always greeted me with a smile. He made sure I felt cared for and valued, not just like another patient. Both Dr. Bolson and Sammy were genuinely compassionate and attentive. While I hope I won’t need to return, if I do, I will definitely go back to Dr. Bolson.

Went ER. Had ACUTE injury (R hand extensor tendon), no fracture. I had a history of chronic wrist & thumb pain & they found an incidental, UNRELATED old fracture to my wrist. Fine, but insignificant. I was told if my ACUTE tendon injury got worse to call & they'd get me back in. Been trying for 3 weeks. I CAN'T get back in to see anyone. No matter which method of communication I try, I can't make them realize I need to be seen for my HAND INJURY, not an OLD UNRELATED wrist issue. When I complained, the Doctor wrote an addendum saying my WRIST fx was equivalent to a sprain & didn't need follow up til Feb. OK, but what about my HAND INJURY? Two days ago I quit begging for care! I went to a civilian hand surgeon, paid for care out of pocket, got my hand injury addressed IMMEDIATELY & scheduled surgery to fix the chronic issue all in 1 visit...WOW! Dr Bolson, READ YOUR NOTES, fix the ERRORS & try speaking to your patients! I needed f/u on my HAND injury. I can't make that any clearer.
