Loved my visit the front office ladies are so sweet. The NP i see is a little hard to understand but shes really nice and listens well

I was referred to this clinic by my primary . After waiting an hour for a telehealth appointment and calling multiple times , another provider called and hung up in my face after I expressed concerns about the quality of care. Would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking assistance.

My provider has left me without medicine two days short last month and now I've already went and done in my UA and I'm now I'm into one day without medicine this month what am I supposed to do without 3 days of medicine what am I supposed to do do they want me to relapse is that what they want do they want me to relapse I have never had a doctor make me go three days without medicine because they're too stupid to count to 90 he needs to get a new provider or do it his damn self because I'm sick of this!

If you need mental health treatment, you definitely want to find someone who is more up-to-date on the latest treatments available. If Dr. Shiwach is on staff at the hospital you are looking at, run the other way.

Absolutely would not recommend. They do not take the time to get to know your needs. My initial appointment was a total of 8 minutes on the phone with a NP. Each subsequent appointment was shorter and shorter. One appointment lasted a total of 1 minute. And then they promptly collect my $70 copay for my one minute on the phone with them. The NP never asks how I’m doing or anything...never any of the questions a psychiatrist/NP is supposed to ask...just “do you like the new med we started last month?” And that’s literally the extent of our conversation. She does not explain anything about the meds or how they work or what I should/shouldn’t do or take with certain meds. Everything I know about my medications, I learned from the internet. My new psychiatrist says I was on "a very dangerous combination of meds." When it comes to getting my medications filled, I have never not had a problem with at least one prescription being sent to the pharmacy. I can't say enough bad things about them.

Dr. Shiwach is the gold standard for mental health care. Very personable and a skilled communicator. After 13 years free of opiates I am well aware of all the things he told me about myself and how I was being treated that I benefitted from and clearly identified him as so much better than the rest. I saw him initially for a few months and then his associates for monthly follow up and with him twice per year. That's all I asked for and all I needed. His time is much better spent working up a treatment plan for someone in trouble than visiting with me during an uncomplicated recheck. He knows what he's doing and I couldn't trust him more. For purposes of constructive criticism I wish his front office was as personable and easy to deal with as he is.

You wont talk to him for more than 5 minutes before you're out of the door. He's not mean, but doesn't seem to want to listen to what you're going through. It just seems like he wants to give you a pill for every symptom and send you on your way.

I have been going to this facility for over 10 years. I've only seen Dr Shiwach once and now I see his other providers/practioners. I was pretty much accused of being addicted to medications that they prescribed as I informed them they were not working and my dosage may need to be increased as I've had to double up sometimes. I was threatened by the provider to be put in a treatment facility for no reason. These last couple of months have been pretty rough. The office manager is rude. Not happy

CANT EVER GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE WHEN THEY DO ANSWER THEY SAY “Please hold and click on your face “ This is probably the worst care I have ever received with just trying to talk to someone on the phone I myself work in a doctors office and this customer service is TERRIBLE !!!!!

I was referred to this office for counseling and therapy. They make you jump through hoops just to get an appointment, which is month out. Then, your ‘appointment’ is you sitting and answering a bunch of questions followed by them pushing you out the door with medication. No counseling, no therapy...I feel worse leaving the office than I did going in.
