Find a Better Doctor
Called back for 3 yr Check-Up only to find they won't answer any of your calls; you can only leave a number. Left 3 messages and they never called back until after I found another doctor. THEY answered the phone & was happy to have a new patient! Red flag, when they think they're doing YOU a favor, and not vice-versa...RUN!! Find a doctor happy to provide you service!

Referrals never scheduled
My PCP referred my husband 5 months ago. We have been trying to schedule him since. No one answers the phone, we have left numerous voicemails none of which have been returned. Worst customer service ever.

Successful procedure
This message is for Drs. Abrol and Dooda. It has been nearly 15 months since you did a procedure for me, and since then I have experienced no further bleeding episodes. That is the longest time I have gone without an episode in the last ten years. Many thanks for that treatment. Perhaps I can take a Motrim now without suffering a relapse?

Dr. Abrol himself, when you get to see him is fantastic. Less can be said for scheduling or callbacks from his office staff. Voicemails are never returned. Be ready to hear elevator music and "Thank you for holding, please continue to stay on the line" and then you get to leave a voicemail. Heaven forbid, you actually leave a clear concise voicemail. There is a one in 1000 chance that your call will be returned. Can you imagine waiting so long to get in that your urgent issue becomes an emergency?

Dr. Abrol impressed us with his kindness, and the way he took time to explain my husband's pancreatic issues, including drawing diagrams to help us understand. He was honest about his concern. He was diligent about arranging for a biopsy as soon as possible. We did not feel rushed at all. On the contrary, we felt that he spent as much time as we needed.

I have seen Dr Abrol for several years. I was forced to find a new provider as I have become fed up with the lack of communication. The office rarely answers calls, rarely follows up and IF you get an appointment you can expect 1 hour plus wait times. Every time my Humira comes up for refill it takes their office 2-4 weeks to respond. This last time I had been out of medicine for over a month and no one returned my calls. I sought out a new Dr in desperation and am very happy I did. The difference has been night and day. I really liked Dr Abrol and his staff, but my health comes first. I am saddened that I have to leave a bad review, but folks should know what they are dealing with in advance.

Horrible experience. I am a nurse and caregiver for my previous doctor after he had a stroke. He was in the hospital for a week and was pretty much unresponsive. I was at the hospital quite a bit but always seemed to miss the doctor when they came by. I along with the patient’s daughter made multiple calls to the office to try and speak with one of the doctors to get info on his status, to no avail. No one ever called back. I was able to get a message to their nurse practitioner and was told they were going to be back at the hospital within an hour and a half and would come up and speak with us. I had been there all day, decided to wait...they never came but left a message with the floor nurse that the doctor would call his family. Never called. He has been gone from there 2 weeks, we have yet to talk with Dr. Abrol about his condition. His daughter has made 12 calls with promises for the last 2 days a callback. We are filing a grievance with the Texas Medical Board at this time.

Dr. Abrol saved my life! He is the kindest most concerned doctor I could ever hope for. My system was in such turmoil that I was in the ER many times before seeing Dr. Abrol. Due to stopping Flagyl, my microbiomes were in attack mode. Dr. Abrol stepped in without an appointment to get the necessary drugs to stop my pain. They don’t come any better than this.

I felt like he was rushing me and did not take time to listen to the pain I was experiencing. He spent less than 5 minutes with me. I will need to find another doctor.
