All of a sudden he closed up shop and disconnected phones. Just disappeared. Warning would have be nice to return records refill prescriptions etc. so disappointing

Excellent Physician since 2000....
Our family have been patients of Dr. Patel since 2000, and we could not be more satisfied. We can typically get an appointment the same day, and he spends as much time as necessary when we see him. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel.

Just - no.
I have been seeing Dr. Patel for the past three or so years. Every time I have an appointment with him, he says something completely inappropriate. He once offered to do my rectal exam, stating that he has 'sensitive hands.' Ew. At my last visit, when I told him I had not been doing well, he said, verbatim: 'You just need a man.' I am sorry - WHAT??? Finding a new doctor today.

Honesty is a rare quality now days
I have been seeing him for over 25 years and now I am living over 9000 miles away but still when I visit I see him and get my annual physical. Most honest and down-to-earth doctor. I hope he never retires or else be lost to find an honest person/doctor like him.

I was new to Atlanta and needed to go to a doctor for my allergies. One of my friends recommended Dr Patel and boy was I pleased. He definately makes you feel at ease cause of his knowledge and confidence on the subject. He knows his matter well and is always spot on without any hesitation. I definately recommend any one who is new and needs to go to a good general practitioner.

My experience with Dr. Patel has been exceptional. He has a small, no frills practice (just himself and a nurse) with a friendly staff. He is very knowledgeable and caring and takes the time to explain things, and does not order unnecessary tests and medications. Unfortunately, this type of doctor is a dying breed in our country. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel as a Family Physician.

Dr. Patel has been my family medicine doctor for almost 30 years. I consider him the finest doctor available. So much so that when I moved away from the area (about 120 mile round trip) about 15 years ago I continued to see him. I know him very well and I consider him a friend as well as the best doctor I could get. He does what he does because he cares; he certainly doesn' t need to keep doing it. I consider us (his patients) very lucky indeed.
