Dr. Pawar was incredibly helpful when my son was having random seizures. He was professional, incredibly knowledgeable, prompt and kind.

A few months ago, I had a stroke and Dr. Pawar throughly reviewed the results of my scans. He was very thoughtful and explained in a clear and concise manner my results. Additionally, he followed up with me during my stay at the hospital and made sure that all my questions and concerns were answered. I am very thankful for the care I received from him.

I had a scan done at a local facility simply because it was close to home as I am up there in age, no longer able to drive. Radiologists at this facility reported mass findings were within normal range....what ever that meant!? I wasn't comfortable with that answer nor the delays in getting my results back nor their poor communication regarding results. Within two weeks after having the scan done I found myself in the ED at St. Barnabas Medical Center, even more confused because I thought things are normal. The exact same scan was redone at the medical center with results available within the hour from Dr. Pawar. His findings were clear and descriptive, revealing the need for surgery and post op treatments for a time. I'm told there are only a few radiologist with the eye to recognize certain findings at early stage. Dr. Pawar proves this to be true. He's a talented Radiologist! I'm forever grateful he choose this field of medicine to be in!!

Ive been through many procedures and surgeries in my relatively young life. I am a 51 year old former high level athlete and coach. Having said that , I have seen a myriad professionals in the medical field from world renowned orthopedic surgeons to X- Ray techs. However, my experiences ( more than a few now) with Dr Rahul Pawar were extraordinary, to say the least. The level of detail and overall interest in my case felt as though it was coming from a family member , rather than a doctor working on “just another set of scans”. Because of my experiences with Dr Pawar, I have now entrusted his careful eye and expertise with other members of both my immediate and extended family. Truly an ace in his field and even a better human being.

Dr. Pawar is a stellar radiologist and a wonderful person. He took the time to go over my MRI with me and answered all of my questions, I am sure he was busy, but he took the time. He was comforting and reassuring during a very stressful time. He told me that if I had any other questions that I thought of once I left to call him and he gave me his number. Both myself and my family are patients in both Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center as well as the outpatient Ambulatory Care Center in Livingston. With both myself and my son having a history of prior brain surgeries for Chiari Malformation, we rely on the expertise of the radiologist after our imaging has been acquired. Over the many years as patients, Dr. Pawar has continually provided the highest level of quality in our reports, and we are truly grateful for him!

Dr. Pawar has read several BRAIN MR Imaging studies on my wife, who suffers from MS. His diagnostic interpretations are excellent; all physicians at the MS Clinic trust his expertise and experience.

I obtained the results of my MRI . Dr Pawar description wasn’t as detailed as my previous MRI two years ago. I would hope that the description of the findings would be consistent with the amount of details. The test itself is very expensive and very important to any further treatment if needed. I wish that I could have requested the previous doc to review my MRI. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
