I did an endoscopy with this gentleman at TGH on 09-20. I asked several times before the procedure, how much the procedure would cost. Every time the answer was: 'Your co-pay will be only $ 550.00 and nothing more'. I paid the co-pay on the same day of the procedure. Still, to my surprise after a few weeks, I started receiving more bills for the same procedure, like anesthesia, esophagus dilatation to be able to reach the stomach, etc. How in this World are they supposed to do an endoscopy without anesthesia??? The anesthesia is supposed to be included in the initial quote! the same goes for the dilatation... It is like buying a plane ticket and a few days after your trip you start receiving bills because you 'flew' in the airplane and, when you complain about it, the company says 'Sorry, the flight portion was not included in the plane ticket'. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY AND FROM TGH.

'Dr. Ray' is an outstanding man of his word
After a scheduling 'oops,' Dr. Ray left another facility & got to Brandon in record time to do my procedure, as was originally agreed during my office visit. He was smiling, gracious & all was well-- just as he'd told me he'd make sure it was. Highly recommend him!
