What a wonderful Dr.
I met Dr Valencia and a few other Cardiologist in the hospital, and his cheery disposition and all around positive demeanor made me feel like everything was going to be alright. Even though he wasn't the one who did my stint, he was definitely the Dr. I wanted to see for all future heart issues. I received notification that he was no longer going to be in my network and so now I need to find out what I need to do to keep him. I was a little scared after my heart attack, but Dr Valenica got me through it very quickly because of his confidence and treatment.

Rude
His bedside manner is horrible! He told me that he was going to order a test that he orders for all "fatties." Very cocky and aloof. If you want someone who listens, has manners, and care find someone else.

Covid delayed my tests/scans. Dr Steljes of the Nevada Heart and Vascular Center, recommended Dr Valencia, a heart doctor in his group. Dr Valencia reviewed my tests/scans resulting in his deciding to perform an Angoigram. The procedure went incredibly well and shortly after the successful stint placement, Dr Valencia discussed my situation with Dr Resh, a Pacemaker Specialist in his group. Dr Resh and his team arranged that I receive a Pacemaker. This procedure was a complete success as I am recovering comfortably. I wanted to write this review in case there are others out their in need of treatment for Heart conditions. I totally recommend Dr Valencia and Dr Resh and their outstanding support team of very professional, efficient and caring people. Their nurse, Nancy along with the excellent staff, including Veronica, Susan, and Tania provided caring support. My wife and I are extremely appreciative of Dr Valencia’s thorough and timely diagnosis and actions. Feeling really good!

Awesome Surgeon. Dr Valencia was amazing during my recent angioplasty. His comforting discussions before the procedure put me at ease and his reputation at the hospital with all the nurses and assistants is exemplary. Though I hope to never need a surgery in the future, if I do Dr. Valencia is my first choice !

Dr. Valencia performed an angiogram Aug 18 2016. In recovery I had a brain stem stroke. I was admitted there for 8 days. Not one time did Dr. Valencia come see me or contact me. After 8 days I was sent to Health South and admitted for 8 days, again no contact from my doctor who's patient suffered a brain stem stroke. This to me shows a persons true caliber and he failed!

Just had Dr. Valencia put in a stent. He looked at my tests and knew immediately what had to be done. I am a 72 year old male and feel 1,000% better. It's only been a week, I saw him today for a follow up and everything looks great. See him again in Jan.,2018. Staff has always been the best and have never had a problem talking to someone. Been a patient of NV Heart and Vascular for 10 years. Dr. Valencia was just great with me. William Downs
