Dr Trespalacios removed Cataracts in both my eyes and did a Capsulotomy laser procedure in both eyes. He restored my vision to near perfect. His team are all highly professional and friendly.

Cataracts and eyelid lift
I had both cataracts removed and choose mono vision. I was very surprised by what Medicare didn’t cover, but after asking around I found it was accurate. Of coarse I wanted top of the line. I also just had lid lift surgery. I love my new eyes Dr Tres isn’t a talker , but I’ve been in optical my whole life and I think he is an exceptional doctor.

Great eye doctor
Dr. Tres did my cataract surgery a few years ago. It was an excellent experience with great results. When I developed Bell’s palsy in my face a few months ago, my doctor recommended I see an eye doctor as a precaution. During the exam he found I also had diabetic retinopathy, and explained that injections could prevent it getting worse, and hopefully improve my vision, which had become quite blurry. I’ve started the injections and they are helping. Dr. Tres has always been very kind and respectful, and takes the time to explain what is happening, and listens to my concerns. I trust him completely with my vision care and would highly recommend him to anyone. The staff is also friendly and helpful.

The office staff was very cordial and courteous. Omar one of the techs was excellent and extremely efficient. Unfortunately I was not as impressed with Dr. Trespalacious however, I found him very condescending and he appeared to push an appointment for cataract surgery. I had made the appointment that day for a retina exam and he didn’t even discuss this with me. After meeting with him, a very friendly lady met with me to schedule the surgery and asked if the doctor explained everything and I told her no. She then was very helpful explaining injections that needed to be scheduled for macular degeneration. I have since found another doctor to help me with my treatments. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Office staff was great – Feb 13, 2021

I noted that many of the reviews on this site are more than five years old. Today is 2/11/2021. I believe Dr. Tres is an excellent and kind physician; however, the management of this office is the reason I cannot recommend him. Individual staff are often very nice, but appointment scheduling is not acceptable. In the year I have been taking my elderly friend here, most of our appointment times were changed without notice - not only appointment times but office locations. Her surgery was not handled well because paperwork was misplaced between offices and the nurses did not give her the right drops to take home. We get texts saying we’ve missed appointments when we haven’t. Phone calls to the office are very difficult. You can be on hold for 45 minutes. Please Brevard Eye Center, take administration seriously. Keep scheduled appointment times. Be considerate of your elderly patients who can’t drive. Communicate more clearly after surgeries and procedures. Synchronize your locations.

Dr. Trespalacious is truly the Best in Brevard Co.! I was so concerned & scared with the eye surgery and it went smoothly. I am thankful for the nurses and staff at Brevard Eye as well and have recommended Dr. Tres' to my family, friends and colleagues . Thank you, once again!

Extremely disappointed in the way I was treated going in for a procedure! He was condescending in the way he spoke and was rushing. Made no effort to reassure me about what was happening and literally said it was a waste of his time to be there. I actually did not go through with the procedure and will NOT be returning to him for anything. Definitely would not recommend, especially to older patients who may be going in alone.

I had gone to Brevard eye center for years. Very disappointed with service and staff now. Dr Trespalacios tried to sell me very expensive lenses that would not benefit me as I have macular degeneration. Went elsewhere and was told that getting these lenses would be a waste of money. I do not recommend this practice anymore. Uncaring doctor and unprofessional staff. Very disappointing.

Visited Dr, Trespalacious's office for advice on cataract surgeries. He is very pleasant and listens to your concerns. Planned several visits after which were scheduled when I was there in a timely manner. His staff were very friendly and helpful both my surgeries. Even though I had to travel back & forth for measurements, it was a good experience. My eyes are better than ever and am happy with the results! Thank you Dr. Tres!

Dr. Trespalacios is an excellent physician and a very likable person. He performed my cataract surgery as well as another procedure to decrease my eye pressure. Both were very successful. My eye pressure is lower than it's been since I was diagnosed with glaucoma and my vision is much improved.

Definitely not a people person! Made statements about what I could expect from cataract surgery and it didn't happen. Had to go in for stitches two days after original surgery to "repair a leak". Extremely bad floaters showed up shortly after surgery. Referred me to his "associate" who had a worse personality than Tres. His recommendation was surgery with a 16% CHANCE OF FAILURE, blindness! Do your homework. There are better choices available. Dr Walters(?)in Tres's contacts area is even worse

Just turned 78 and for the past twenty plus years I had to wear a pair of reading glasses around my neck because I couldn't read small print. A couple of months ago Dr. Tres put new lenses in both eyes and I've put away all my glasses. Things are brighter and clearer then ever. Thanks Doc!
