Dr. Pita is awesome! My PCP sent me for an ultrasound on my thyroid. The film showed that was fine but there was something else in the film. She then sent me for a CT scan on my throat. Twenty minutes later when I got home I had three phone calls to come to the ED at Desoto Memorial Hospital. When I got there I met Dr. Pita. He assured me the thyroid was fine, however, I had a large cerebral aneurysm on the carotid artery. It was pushing into my brain and on my left optical nerve. He explained what was involved with it and did so very compassionately. He referred me to a specialist that handles this particular situation. It has been taken care of and I am fine now. I trust Dr. Pita immensely and respect him completely. I would highly recommend him as a physician.

i wouldt trust this doctor with any thing besides a scratch and even that i would be nervous about.

I don't know, maybe I saw him on an off day or maybe its because he is young but the guy was just not what i expected from ER doctor. I had some issues going on, like everyone else, i googled my problem. finally saw the doctor and it was like he just read the same article i read on google cuz i swear, the guy was telling me the same thing word for word. Couldve save myself some money and just see dr google.

took my daughter to the er and saw this guy. He did a bunch of blood work and ct on my daughter and didnt find anything wrong with her. Did every test except for a basic strep test. turns out my daughter had strep after i took her to her pediatrician. She was pretty much back to her self after being put on antibiotics by pediatrician after about 2 days.

He saw my mom in ER. Says he is ER doctor. He’s not - he’s Just a family doctor (like a nurse practitioner). Everyone knows you can’t work in ER unless you are ER ????????????ER. Total fraud.
