Finally Someone Listens
Dr Marrero came in and did a complete exam instead of managing my complaint. He took my full history as it related to my ear being clogged and feeling like there was fluid in my ear with no draining. He immediately determined by my chronic history of ear infections going back to childhood that my eustachian tube was blocked. I had been to another highly recommended and well respected ENT who just looked in my ear and said: 'there is no fluid, you just have hearing loss and sometimes our brain tricks us to think it's something else going on.' He sent me on my way. Dr Marrero performed a procedure in the office that instantly provided some relief and he has a plan to manage future blockage. So glad my GP referred me here. I highly recommend

This man was very condescending to me. He started off the appointment by commenting on how much medication I take then couldn’t be bothered to let me clarify what I actually take which is five prescriptions. He then asked what my other doctor prescribed and when told oral steroids, rudely asked how it was administered… um, orally? He then proceeded to mock me to my husband in front of me. He was just unbearable the entire time. I could be at death’s door with a horrible throat condition and he could be the only ENT and I wouldn’t go back to him. Insufferable.

JUST DONT GO
Don't even bother. If you're overweight or on meds for depression or anxiety he will go off and tell you that you don't need them but he will push his sleep study that cost to take online. We were there for thyroid issues and getting the results back but of course, he had no results yet and was not called to make another appointment...So that visit was a waste of time but we got to hear all about other stuff that had nothing to do with thyroid issues...Very judgmental.

The Best
This Dr is extremely kind, patient, polite and thorough. Add to that… he is a very good ENT Dr plus he is head of the Sleep Study clinic in Conway and excels in that work. He has provided excellent care with follow-up and when there was a question, he called personally to answer it. As many know, this is rare these days. I would highly recommend this dr. He is one of the few drs left who shows he cares about his patients by both his words and actions!

Just go somewhere else
I saw this physician recently. He made me feel stupid for being there. Without having all my test results in hand he said “it’s probably nothing” and I was out within 10 minutes.

Sinus surgery is not for the faint of heart but once recovered; you will find it well worth going through the recovery process. I have not had sinusitis since my surgery. Dr. Marrero did an excellent job.

Dr. Marrero corrected my deviated septum, fixed a turbinate that was causing me more trouble than I realized, and put a tube in my right ear. He was very professional, conscientious, and thorough. I breathing so much better now and there are no more sinus headaches! My breathing has improved dramatically. I am so glad I asked my doctor for an ENT referral, and I’m even happier that I was referred to Dr. Marrero. It’s so much easier to sleep when you can breathe!

He performed a tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy on my 3 year old son, who was having sleeping problems, breathing problems, and recurrent upper respiratory issues. My 3 year old was eating soft foods by day 3 post surgery. He had maybe one really rough day with pain on day 2. He is now approx 10 days post op and has not needed any pain interventions, is back to school, and eating his favorite foods. His sleeping has seemingly improved with no disturbances during the night. No reported pain. Dr. Marerro was so kind and patient the entire process. He personally called to check on my son and his progress. We highly recommend him!

I visited an ENT in Little Rock first and then visited Dr. Marrero in Conway. There was a world of difference in bedside manner! Dr. Marrero did an excellent job of LISTENING and explaining. Not once did I feel rushed in and out of the office. He was pleasant to talk to, helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to schedule with him again if I ever need an ENT in the future.

I had been suffering from chronic sinusitis for a year. 5 weeks after Dr Marrero performed sinus surgery, I have never felt better. Dr. Marrero was very good at explaining my CT scan and going over the surgery, what the risks, what to expect. I highly recommend Dr. Marrero to anyone the sinus issues.

Dr. Marrero might be the best doctor I have ever seen. I’ve seen many doctors in many different fields and had great to awful experiences. Dr. Marrero listened to me. He explained what he was thinking and what he wanted to do. He treated me like a human capable of thought and able to be a part of my own health care. He was clear, kind and competent. On top of that I had to bring my 20 month old with me. He was perfectly comfortable with his wanderings and chatting. He talked to him and helped distract him so we could have our visit. I didn’t feel like an inconvenience or a bother at all for having to bring my son. I highly recommend Dr. Marrero.

Dr, Marrero helped me with a voice problem. He was an exceptional listener and diagnostician. He listened with insight and compassion, and he was particularity interested in preventing future occurrences. He took the time to help me learn what I needed to know to deal with my disorder. I have the greatest respect for his competence - he would be exceptional in working with any family member.

I had my tonsils out using the cool plasma technique that Dr Marrero performs. He chooses this technique because healing is much faster as their are no burns. He answered all my questions. He’s professional and took time to discuss everything with me. He is also funny and a great guy. My throat healed very fast. I’m so thankful that he helped me solve my issues.

Dr Marrero operated on me 19 months ago to open my nasal passages by straightening my septum. Before the operation, sinus infections were frequent. Most years, during spring and fall, I would have at least one sinus infection per year. Since the operation I have not had a single sinus infection. Dr. Marrero also tested me for allergies and I have been on daily allergy drops for approximately 15 months. I have been told that it can take three to five years to see improvement but I believe my allergies have improved. Mike Jones, age 65 (at the time of surgery).

I absolutely love Dr. Marrero. He helped me so much with all my breathing issues as well as discovered i had sleep apnea. I am quite claustrophobic so this really scared me but the surgery he did to help with my deviated septum and enlarged turbinates made it do much easier to breath that the cpap machine is actually a breeze. Thank you so much Dr. Marrero!

Great Doctor!! Went to him with symptoms of vertigo. Within 15 minutes he is asking me questions about my sleep habits. Sent me for a sleep study and found that I had severe apnea. On cpap now and it has really changed me. My primary doctor who I have been going to for 20 years never diagnosed my problem. Dr Marrero did in about 20 minutes. It has changed my life. Back to being active with lots of energy and sleeping all night. Thank You Dr Marrero!! By the way my vertigo is gone.
